THEY WERE MADE AWARE THAT MY LOCK HASP AS WELL AS MY LOCKS WERE DAMAGED BY SOMEONE APPARENTLY CUTTING OR ATTEMPTING TO BREAK INTO MY STORAGE UNIT AND THEY WERE VERY SLOW TO RESPOND AND ALSO TRIED TO CHANGE MY LOCKS TO THEIR OWN. AND DIDN'T SEEM TO COMPREHEND THE ISSUE. ALSO I FOUND A VAN CAMPING IN THE DARKNESS IN THE GRASS IN BETWEEN THE BUILDINGS INSIDE THE GATES AND THEY TOLD ME TO CALL AFTER HOURS CUSTOMER SERVICE WHO WAS NOT AVAILABLE... WHAT A NIGHTMARE ... Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever seen. Their software won’t let me vacate my unit and they keep charging me monthly. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and they started charging me additional fees. Can’t get anyone in the phone!! ... Read more

I reported a significant AC unit leaking and the portal instructs me to call 911. Really? I have called several times and sent 2 emails. Though it is not on my row, it can cause damage to neighboring units. I can’t imagine what it looks like today. This was the day before and the leaking was increasing while I was there. ... Read more

It was great they let me switch to a bigger storage prices are great and there where very nice to me couldn't ask any better the only reason I moved out because I live in travel trailer and the RV park finally had a storage on site and I just moved into it the only thing I could say though is that if I had complaint is that I wish they had one person at the storage site so u could let them know wats going on with any problems or see the actual size of the storage units they have ... This is NOT Storage Made Easy, which is their slogan!.... I rented a unit climate controlled recently.... The only way to rent a unit is online... There is no one onsite.... When I rented the unit I was assigned a unit that was in the building with the lowest elevation on the property and near a pond and run off drain ditches.... When I saw this I changed units because of the flood risk that I perceived... There was also an issue with security; the chain link has been lifted and persons can now easily crawl under it.... Also, the timer to turn the light on by the door was broken... I have had to make a number of calls to support... Plan on waiting a long time (like more than half an hour per call), and their support hours are very limited, "Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST."... The process to move units has NOT gone smoothly... I had to first rent a second unit, move my stuff from the first unit to the second unit, then do a move out from the first unit... For the move out, I completed their process; move out contents, take pictures and send in, then return lock to their onsite lock box... I received a confirmation email that the process was completed.... Then, after asking for confirmation that the evidence of insurance that I provided was accepted for the new unit; I got an email about a week later saying the first unit I rented was not empty; although IT WAS??? Also, they upcharge the price about $5 above the advertised price for 'Technology', (self service).... It is has been a total pain renting from these guys... I have another unit the is managed by another company that is SO MUCH BETTER!!!!! ... Read more

Moved from another state and stored everything here besides clothes and a few necessities until we got a home. Were were only here for about two months and once we moved out we realized quickly a bunch of our stuff was missing. I contacted online and never heard anything back, time went by and I realized an expensive hunting item of mine was gone so I called this time and was given a run around to go to claims. Here I pretty much was told because I have no police report, evidence of forced entry and didn’t realize immediately I’m out. My unit was unlocked one day and I thought maybe we had forgotten the time before but now I realize that’s not the case. But apparently I’m out cuz I didn’t report that because it didn’t seem suspicious then. Do not use this storage unit or their insurance. Your belongings aren’t safe and you won’t get any Reimbursement. ... Read more

My lock was cut twice and several things were stolen. I cant even get a response from the storage facility. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. The security is awful. Do not put your stuff at this facility unless you want it stolen. NO RESPONSE AT ALL. I was required to make a rating. I gave it a 1 but they dont even deserve that. ... Read more

I was unclear whether I wanted a storage unit. After speaking with Ana at 10 Federal, my decision was crystal clear of what I needed. She was so professional with a wealth of knowledge about the company. After a quick process I was set to go! I just visited the facility and found it to be clean and well kept. I am happy with the decision I made and would definitely recommend this company! ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
