Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

My unit went from $85 to $98 to $109 to $135 in just one year here. After contacting their customer service I was told Public Storage will do this based on "market value" as long as they send an email stating the changes before. Ridiculously annoying to see such a dramatic increase so often and instead of providing an answer for doing so they just blame the market. ... Read more

Cost of unit doubled in a couple of months, messages left for days - no response from property manager. Chat line hangs up constantly. Customer service is a complete joke. Can’t even contact head office regarding the poor service. ... Read more

I have had my belongings stored here for several years after the pandemic. I have never had any issues. The front desk worker even helped me once when I dropped a glass shelf and didn’t have anything to clean up with. I appreciate the peace of mind that my items are always secure. ... Read more

UPDATE TO REVIEW: We owe a huge thank you to Phil for speaking to ownership on our behalf. There's now a new system so carts are available after hours. As stated before, this location has 2 great property managers who will do anything they can to try and accommodate. Thanks again for listening and for doing all you can to help us, Phil! The facility is secure, which is very much appreciated. ... Read more

Phil has been awesome to work with. We had a unit upstairs on the 3rd floor and he was able to help find one on the first floor even when storage units were becoming hard to find. Phil also help when switching my payment options and caught a mistake I made when doing auto pay. If you ever need to have exceptional customer service ask for Phil. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
