    Berlims P. - 9 April 2025
I had to reserve a unit online because they don't have an on-site office for drop in customers. The unit I reserved is advertised as having a door, and is available. I couldn't find the unit number I was assigned (719) until I started looking at parking spots. I found the unit. It doesn't have a door, and it's not available (as you can see from the photo). Parking at an angle like that it barely even counts as covered. ... Read more

I had a unit @ this facility for 13 years. In that time the rent amount only went up once by $5, that alone would make a five star review but my unit remained secure that whole time, communication if a payment didn’t post and help getting onto facility when needed. I would absolutely recommend this storage to everyone. Thank you for many years of security. ... Read more

Even though I had problems processing the rental agreement online because the site did not recognize my ID yet my phone twice said "Thank You for Completing Your ID verification." I timed out waiting for that verification so I could sign. The local manager, Leah Berlim was excellent in completing the agreement with me and we will be ready to move in tomorrow! ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.

At Storelocal Storage - 1919 Ironton Blvd, available security amenities may include Security Camera, Gate, designed to help keep your items protected.

Yes, most standard vehicles can be stored in self storage units. A 10x20 unit typically provides enough space for a car, while outdoor or designated parking areas may be available for larger vehicles.
