Best price in Utah county hands down... Clean, new units and facility, no one on site to hassle you or moan and groan about stereo up to loud or band practicing. On the flip side no one on site to help you immediately if needed in person, although most issues can and are handled with a simple phone call... No restrooms or dumpster on site either... Wish more than anything there was a 24 hour access for businesses or something. ... Read more

I've used A-Side Storage several times over the years and have always had a great experience. They make it super easy to set up automatic payments and I love that I can access my storage unit anytime, even late at night if I need to. They have also been prompt in returning my messages by phone if I need to talk to someone in person. ... Read more

Easy and fast to rent a space. Reasonably priced. I was going back and forth moving things at different times of day and night - the hours worked out great for me. Very clean!! Easy access to freeway and other areas. After I moved my items out of the unit - one phone call and I was done! Deposit returned promptly - no hassle! I would definitely rent a unit here again in the future! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.

At A-Side Self Storage - 1663 West Center Street, available security amenities may include Security Camera, Gate, Onsite Manager, designed to help keep your items protected.

Yes, most standard vehicles can be stored in self storage units. A 10x20 unit typically provides enough space for a car, while outdoor or designated parking areas may be available for larger vehicles.

For safety reasons, most self storage facilities restrict certain items. These commonly include:

  • Hazardous, flammable, or toxic materials
  • Perishable food
  • Live plants or animals
