Went from $100 a month to $250 a month. Move your stuff in and then they jack up the price. This was kind of whatever, all these guys have the same business model I’m sure. Then when we went to cancel, they charged us for the month of march showing up on March 1st even though our billing date isn’t until the 7th of March. What a joke. We have paid for years and they wouldn’t budge. Not a good way to treat long paying customers especially when there was a chance I might have needed one in the future. ... Read more

The setup for this unit was easily setup online it was around $57 to setup and it said monthly for a 10x10 unit. The day I arrived to unload my things the unit seemed clean and big enough but the entry fence was open and I did not see it close. I had a nice employee greet me and he was very helpful. He asked me to give a review. I did not at that time due to unloading and forgot. Also I had no review information yet as it was my first day. The next day I came to unload something else, the same guy greeted me and told me he could help me in the office when he was done unloading. I went to the office when we were done. There was the customer service gentleman who helped me before and then two other people in the office. A male and female, they seemed to be management of some type. The customer service man told me of the app to get in and out of the gate, but I had not seen the gate closed. So I thank him and waited for him to finish. The male asked me about my experience and then asked if I left a 5 star review. I proceeded to tell him about how it was my 2nd day and had not experienced much other then this helpful customer service man. He continued on asking me to leave a 5 star review, explaining how to do it on my phone. I felt pressured so I just did it. Weeks went on, I had come and gone multiple times and had yet to see the gate close. Final after some weeks went by the gate was closed and I figured out how to use the app to open the gate. Next experience with a younger lady customer service, I was loading some stuff up and had asked her about the gate and the app. I explained I had to unhook my phone Bluetooth from my car so I could use the app to open the gate, I asked if there was a different way to do it. She said no, then said, we are having a competition for reviews, could you go online and give us a 5 star review and mention my name. I told I already gave a review and she asked me to do another one. At this point, my bill had gone up to $72 without anything changing on my end and I was having issues with the gate so I had nothing good to say so I did not leave another review then. Time goes on, gate issues I'm dealing with, but now my bill is at $96 again nothing on my end changing. I went to my storage and could not get in, I was told by a family member it had been bought out by Extra Space Storage. I received letters this week giving me instructions to get their app. Looked at my bill and now is at $99. I'm so frustrated with this company. I do not recommend. ... Read more

We came to this location because we had a reservation for another one and they weren't even there. Office was locked up and everything, and because of an issue with the website, I had to finalize everything in the office. This guy was amazing and was actually getting us set up for that original location but we switched because he was just so wonderful. 10/10. ... Read more

The guy at the front desk was nice to me and my brother and super helpful for that i give a 4 star review.. Issue I'm already having is I was done loading my unit and out of the gate 20 minutes before their 5 P.m. Saturday closing time. I made sure we were out of there with plenty of time on the clock and then they sent me messages trying to say I was past the time is ridiculous to me maybe they should hire a guy to stand at the gate with a watch you can easily look on the camera and see when I left way before 5:00 p.m. they should probably get their stuff together before they start accusing people of things trying to make me look stupid after the first time I use my storage unit is wild to me... ... Nearly doubled my rent within the first 15 months. Signed a contract for $33/month for a 5x5 in January 2024. My payments were raised twice by March 2025 and I am now paying $58/month. They trick you into thinking you’re getting a deal and then once you’re moved in and are unlikely to go through the hassle and admin fees to move to a competitor, they raise the rates. I don’t know if this is standard practice among other storage companies but it is not cool. ... Read more

This is not my normal public storage facility. I had the unfortunate necessity to stop by there to attempt to make a payment at the actual property that my storage is stored in. I had the unfortunate time to meet a young lady there that represented the staff there. She was EXTREMELY argumentative and unprofessional. And if she had been the renter at my main site. I would have taken my belonging somewhere else. She was pushy and so unprofessional I felt like she could be a amateur politician. This location is one that I would never EVER recommend renting a space from. If this lady that I had the unfortunate timing of having to meet represents the way that property is kept. I would recommend very externally to GO ANYWHERE ELSE.. ... Read more

This place is neat. Anthony explained everything to me. Showed the unit to make sure it will meet my needs, explained how to use the app and/or the code. Anyways both of the employees are great and keep calm and smiling all the time. I also got a promotion that they honored because for some circumstances with the online system I couldn't have it on time. Great job!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 3673 South Redwood Road has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 3673 South Redwood Road can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 450 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 3673 South Redwood Road come at a variety of prices, starting from $14 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $203 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
