Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I was able to find a Tiny “Gem” 5x5 in This Public Storage — the big plus being right near the front door, and at first I had my Misgivings with the small front parking lot and security w/ so close to the Front. And I was scared origin thinking I could NOT afford Public Storage— bc they were Always Higher than the Competitors. But so far so good! Everytime I came there was enough parking (there IS ample more parking downstairs — as the Property is Huge!), the Front Door is Secure and the Staff: Kelly (sad shes gone), Jhon and Robin are great, Resourceful and helpful. And I got an amazing 2-month Deal, but my Monthly price was Affordable for me to Stay. The building is located in a convenient spot right off 405/520 fwy and not too far from the 90. Its in a good Quiet enough area, its Clean, and they keep the weird Transients or Squatters out from doing Drugs, Stashing Food or leaving Trash in the Units or Property (that I’ve seen at other Facilities… pretty much everywhere now). Im Pretty Happy being here, altho I think I may be moving out soon enough in the Fall. Thank you to this Public Storage — and Kudos! -Samantha ... Read more

Arrived at unit to find that the door bolt had been cut or sawed through. Called the office immediately. Someone arrived within 5-10 minutes and asked when I had been there last. I was told that "we do lock checks but must have missed this one and if I want to I can file a police report." ... Read more

We recently moved from California and had rented a unit down the street from this facility that was not climate controlled. John and Kelly were very helpful in finding us a new unit, canceling the old, and finding us a good rate. I highly recommend this facility. ... Read more

I had a great experience with the staff at Public Storage! Everyone was friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I felt confident in choosing the right storage unit for my needs. ... Read more

Locker was broken into and high value stuff was stolen. The Bellevue police say it is pretty common at this location and the facility doesn't do much about it. There are no cameras for any of the outdoor storage areas. I was also told that they don't keep their recordings for long. They do have a number of lockers that have anti bolt cutting devices on them, but I wasn't give one of them. If you do rent here; make sure it is a locker where it isn't easy to cut the bolt. ... Quick fast and easy. Kelly was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Told us to check online reservations as they typically run promotions and she was absolutely right. $5 cheaper and 2nd month for $1. Thanks Kelly. Highly recommend. ... Read more

I initially chose this storage location on location and price. However, I really appreciate how seemless it was to sign up online and get access to my unit quickly and easily. The app to open the gate is great! I like the hours, too. When I wanted a second unit I went in in person and Kelly helped me easily get it all worked out. ... Read more

I had a great experience with Public storage! After noticing that my current unit’s rent had increased significantly over years, the team was super helpful in finding me another unit at a better rate with a smaller size. Their customer service was outstanding, they even offered me a free locker for three days to make the transition smoother. Special thanks to Kelly and John for going above and beyond to assist me. They truly made the process hassle-free. Highly recommend this location for their excellent service! ... Read more

I just had the best experience at Public Storage, and I owe it all to Jenna! From the moment I walked in, she was super friendly and made the whole process feel like a breeze. I didn’t have a clue what size unit I needed, but Jenna patiently helped me figure it all out, making me feel right at home. The place was clean and well-organized, which I really appreciated. Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.
