    I disagree with the bad reviews about the good man who runs this storage facility. For me, this man has been exactly the type of person who I've been wanting to store my possessions with, because I know that he will watch them like a hawk! I personally found him to be friendly, but he does not have to be your friend. We discussed our pets and connected on that basis. Think of the people who run this facility as your security team. Hyper vigilance throughout the facility. The unit itself was clean. Moving in was smooth. Customer service was attentive and detailed via phone or email. Highly recommended if you value security. ...     We used cheney storage years ago and have never went back. The people that run it are rude and don't have a clue on how to run a storage unit. They also act like they own the whole block and if you stop across the street the man will watch you and record you when your just having ice cream with your family.     To be upfront I didn't end up renting a unit from here, only because they didn't have the storage space I was going to need. I can't remember the name of who I spoke to, but he was extremely kind and professional. He went out of his way it feels to make sure I could find someplace to keep my stuff.     Excellent customer service. They treat you as a human and not a transaction or just another number. I’ve been with them for a couple years and it’s been very understanding, smooth, and professional relationship. They try to take care of each customer, and they actually mean it.     Grateful customer for over 15 years. I was comfortable leaving my unit unattended for long periods of time, trusted their ability to manage my property safely and securely. I was pleased with the great communication over the years, even when I was out of state. Staff and management were cordial, reasonable, and fair. I highly recommend Cheney Self Storage to anyone looking to rent a unit, best price you're going to get hands down.     I highly recommend Cheney Public Storage. If you want the reassurance that your stored items are in a clean, dry, safe, well-guarded environment, this is your place. We used CPS for over six years while we were struggling with several different unexpected moves across three states. I can't tell you how comforting it was to know our entire lives (materially, at least) were in excellent hands. When we first found ourselves unexpectedly and desperately needing a huge amount of storage, CPS quickly and kindly helped us obtain a massive pull-through storage unit that easily held everything we owned. We rented that unit for over 3 years, issue free, until we were finally able to address what was in there. When we did, we were very happy to see everything was dry and safe. Once we were able to reduce the amount we needed stored, we were once again quickly and professionally helped to obtain a smaller, but still quite large, storage unit. Then a few years later we were able to reduce our belongings once more and staff yet again helped us obtain a different, smaller unit which once again was rented without issue until this past year when we were finally able to remove everything entirely from storage. I can't tell you how much we have deeply appreciated the friendly, courteous, prompt attention we have always received from everyone at this facility. Renting was a breeze, easily being able to pay bills on line was a relief, any questions we had either in person or on the phone while we were out of state were immediately, kindly and professionally addressed. I could not have been any happier with the service provided me during the long time we rented from CPS, and I thank the crew there from the bottom of our heart for making the past 6 years of renting stress-free and effortless.
