Please do not rent from here. The place is infested with rats. They will blame it on you, they increase their rates by about double every year. Oh and guess what you have to give 30 day notice. Which means they’re gonna try to charge you. Honestly, I found a storage unit Just down the road for half the price. PS this company owns the facility next-door and across the street and across the street from that. Do not rent from them. I’ve rented from them in the past and I don’t know if it’s new ownership but in the past, it was kindly courteous rates did increase not by over 50%. Elevator doesn’t work there’s moving companies that are located right there and based right there out of the storage units Try to get in and out you have to contend with them. ... Read more

My experience here has been awful. I gave it a few days before I wrote this review for management to do their "research" and to call me back but I have not heard anything yet. I won a storage unit on auction end of October - went to the unit, all was fine. I dealt with the same girl the entire time - I think her name is Evelynn. Day 2 of cleaning out the unit I decide to rent it. Its a 2 hour round trip for me and I just felt like emptying it slowly, I didn't really care. I do this just for fun every once in a while on the side. I rent the unit with same girl, she asks if I need a lock - I do. The display behind her desk is empty though but she says she will find one and bring it to me. I gave her $26 or $27 in cash for the lock - which I remember cause I thought it was a lot. She brings me an already opened lock while Im in my unit - perfect. I leave, she calls me while Im about 2 miles away and tells me that she forgot to give me back my $100 cash cleaning deposit back and will put a note on it and leave it there that I can pick it up. I didn't come back for 2 months but paid my bill on time every month. We rent a Uhaul to go clean it out once and for all. I get there - my lock has been changed. I go to the front desk, same girl. She look surprised to see me. She asks whats going on. I tell her the lock she sold me has been changed. She starts typing and says she never sold me a lock. I said you did, it was 26 or 27 dollars I paid cash. Shes being snarky and said theres no record of it. I said well then you pocketed my cash! Some back & forth happens and we go to the unit. She says she cant open it for us repeatedly, then in the next sentence "do you want me to open it for you?". We are pissed off. She storms away and calls her manager. While we are waiting for him, I ask for my 100 cash deposit back. She came up with a BS story of how it was credited to my unit (not true - i have the invoices and paid in full every month). I said prove it, she couldnt. She stole my 100 deposit and the 26/27 dollars for the lock - this is A FACT. Whether she was the one who changed the lock on my unit is still to be determined. The entire time I was cleaning it out she was walking by saying what nice stuff was in there and how she thought about having someone bid on it for her. I decided to forfeit the unti because I didnt want to waste another second dealing with these sketchy people but i still want my cleaning deposit back. It's principle and she needs to be fired for being a disgusting thief. I look at my CC statements this morning and theres a charge for $13 from them the day I was there-----WTF!!! DONT RENT FROM THESE THIEVES. ... Read more

The Storage unit itself was great, never had any issues. I had a 5x7 storage unit for 6 months and paid $64 a month. After 6 months they raised the rate to $104. That was way too much, too fast so I vacated. Took a couple of different calls to get it canceled but not a big deal. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
