I started an online reservation and processed the paperwork online. It was fast and easy but I was having difficulties with the app. Between Kathy and Christopher, they were both amazing and direct with what I needed and helped as much as they could to solve the issue. I'm on a time crunch and couldn't solve the issue right away and had to cancel my rental unit but the team there , especially Chris, are amazing. Maybe in the future if I need a storage unit on the fly, I'm definitely coming back to them. ... Read more

I have been with Daffodil Storage for a while I've always felt welcome and accommodated in some of my worst times but Kelly has been such a good employee for this company who has went out of her way to make sure I made it through storing the things I was able to Thank you Kelly you get my 10 star ty ... Kelly is one of the greatest most helpful and patient people I have ever met. She knows her stuff, she explains things very simply to help make the whole process as easy as possible. I was going through A LOT of personal trauma & drama in my life when I originally needed a storage unit and she helped me get through the getting a storage unit and a post office box. She is the definition of what all “customer service” should be. I will encourage people to get a storage unit at this location strictly because of Kelly!! ... Read more

Fully automated, easy to apply for a unit online, clean, easy access and great app. Quality in exchange for price is still great value. Highly recommended to those in the area storing items of value or needing a quick turnaround. ... Read more

I came over from Public Storage this month due to an insane monthly rate increase PS tried forcing on me. This is my experience with Daffodil so far: The staff here are excellent and made my move in process seamless. Extremely friendly and helpful. The facility is top shelf all the way. Secure phone app does everything from letting you through the gate, into the building onto the elevator and opens and secures your unit. The facility is big, clean and easy to navigate. It is air conditioned as well! There are a bunch of flatcarts in the lobby for people to use to help move things from the loading bay. The loading bay itself is big enough for 4 vehicles to fit side by side with plenty of room to not ding another vehicle's door. The area between the bay and entry is big, which gives you plenty of room for loading and unloading comfortably. I will try to add photos the next time I stop by. Overall my impression with Daffodil Storage's facility is night and day compared to my previous experience with Public Storage. Very glad I made the choice to drop orange and go with yellow. ... Dorian was so nice and helpful and answered all of my many, many, questions during the rental process. We have been through a storage unit burglary in Texas. So, I'm always super apprehensive about storage units, since then, and a stickler for security. I really appreciate their high tech approach to security. Kelly, I believe, has also helped me, and she was very nice, as well. ... Read more

I've only had my unit for a week or so and have only been there once, but this is by far the best public storage facility I've used. There are no keys, no codes, everything is done right from your phone, even opening the gates!! I absolutely love it and wish all of them were like this. The front desk person was extremely helpful and friendly. I'd recommend this place to anyone ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Daffodil Storage - 3501 South 38th Street has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Daffodil Storage - 3501 South 38th Street can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 150 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Daffodil Storage - 3501 South 38th Street come at a variety of prices, starting from $89 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $203 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
