Read some helpful reviews of East Vancouver RV-Boat Storage at 1306 NE 172nd Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Great storage facility, with great amenities like dump, fresh water, wash, and air station. Staff is decent when they give you the correct information. Many electrical hookups (15 Amps).Their payment options are primitive: Cash, Check, or ACH (very unpredictable with when withdraw happens) are accepted. No online payments are accepted. Office is only open for 3 hours, 4 days a week. Easily could have been a 4 or 5 star review. However, I'm giving it a two-star review for being misled upon signing the rental agreement, as I was verbally told by a staff member from the property management company who issued by access card that I was allowed to accompany my vehicle for a couple hours while charging the batteries about once or every other week, as this is my only vehicle and where I live full-time. Everything was fine for the first 3 months, then I got hit with a termination letter from the PMC saying I was using the spot as a residence. Could have easily told me before signing up that what I was doing wasn't welcome. ?? ... Read more

We also had the catalytic converter cut out in August. We moved our Rv to a different space and they raised the price. I got a letter in October stating they were raising the price again and they sent new coupons. Today I got a call from Vicki stating she made a mistake and the price is going up again. I was told that the video surveillance means there are cameras but doesn’t mean anyone is looking at them. Not sure what we are paying for. ... Read more

As mentioned in a review just 3 days ago, I also had the catalytic converter cut out of our RV. This has been a recurring problem at this facility for at least the last 6 months that I am aware of, more cameras were supposedly installed but doesn't seem to be helping, might be time for active security. ... Owners are fine people. The offer everything you could want for an RV storage facility. Kept mine there for 8 years until I sold it. I even got my card key deposit back even though it took the bookkeeper 4 months to do it. Safe. Well lit. Wash area. Dump station with air and water. ... Read more

Location is convenient but accessing is not. Short & steep entrance causes trailer to scrape when exiting. Spaces are tight & facility is over crowded with trailers parked awkwardly at the front fence reducing the ability to use the driveway to the right. Poor drainage causes massive puddling at the T intersection which is also where the water hose is located. Lighting and electricity provided for covered parking which is in the center, but no lighting along the perimeter, reducing parking visibility after dark. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that East Vancouver RV-Boat Storage - 1306 NE 172nd Avenue has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
