Great place! Stored my truck for 5 months, its nice you dont have to give a 30 day vacate notice- just gotta be out by the end of the month! Will be back next winter!

Owner is an awesome guy. I mistakenly booked the wrong size unit for my boat. Called the number provided on their website and got an answer on Labor Day. He was quick to find me another unit that would fit my needs and didn’t charge me anything extra. Hands down will always return.

Great response to customer feedback resulting in a change of software providers. Process to update Big Ring software/payments on my computer was so easy -- did not even need to ask follow-up questions. Thank you for making my life easier -- especially since I spent time in the hospital in August and was not up for dealing with challenging software issues.

Have used for almost two years. Clean. Affordable. And working with the office was a VERY pleasant and easy experience.

On 11-28-2025 (yesterday), Again, Jacob, the manager of Storage Sense in Appleton , WI did a fantastic job in finding the correct size and location for our new storage needs in no time . The entire transaction took less than 10 minutes for signing up. Flawless and easy with follow-up messages. I hope the upper management fix the main and exit doors to the facility soon as it os putting pressure on the management and other staff each time and each day that they have patiently being working through this. Uppersnagement of Storage Sense and the owners need to be more proactive to fix this outstanding issue soon as it has created an uncomfortable situation for all tenants. As for the storage sense l9cal manager in Appleton: Jake and assistant manager Mike they deserve a 5 star. But I can only give a two stars, to the owner and upper management at Storage Sense headquarters at this time, since they have failed to correct the main large entry and exit doors to the building for quite si.e time now, so tenants could access the facility and their own rented units by driving through as in the past and they have not provided any compensation to the tenants., in addition to failure to fix the flooring in some parts of the building that could cause accidents tal bodily injuries to tenants and staff alike. Keep up the great work Jake, and kudos to you and Mike for your care, assistance and professionalism.

Brennan was Very helpful and everything was explained in person, Extremely well, and the proper lock was available for purchase. The guy at ace hardware didn't know what a cylinder lock was cause they didn't have one if they suggest it.

Great people to deal with, have been with them for years

When we purchased a motorhome, we needed a storage facility that was clean, secure, close to home and had a 14' door opening. We were lucky to find an open unit at Ballard Storage. We've been renting our unit for about 5 years and are very happy with the facility and the owners. The owners keep the area secure with cameras and lighting, and they keep the roads plowed and maintained, and we've not had any issues with rodents, which is a big deal for our motorhome. The online process for monthly payments is very easy and convenient. We are very pleased with our experience and highly recommend!
