Be careful renting a unit here smaller than a 25ft if you are planning on storing a car. I ended up getting a unit with 2 small doors that was not usable in my case. So now I'm in the process of getting a refund and they said chances are I won't get a refund on the admin fee and lock which i find it to be unfair because their is no description stating it has the smaller double door. ... If I could go with negative stars, it would be more fitting. I wanted to see the contract, but the only way to do that was to enter my credit card information first. I didn't realize that they were going to charge my account without a signed contract. I didn't sign the contract due to some terms that I felt were a bit restrictive. I called them back to let them know I would not be signing the contract and would be going another direction. I have since been getting notifications that my "account is past due". I called a couple of times to get this resolved since I never signed the contract. They agreed to cancelling the contract (that was never signed) but they would not return the original amount that was charged to my account. As of today, I am still getting notifications about past due billing. If they would have provided a full refund for services that I never even used, I would have likely rated them with a decent level of stars, but this review reflects the fact that they charged my credit card prior to and without any services of storage. I will be avoiding them at all costs if I need storage services in the future. ... Read more

And I am back again to say DO NOT PUT YOUR STUFF HERE!!! my unit was broken into after I was denied access after the first of the month. the contract states that access will be denied after the 5th of the month. When I called to ask why I was denied after the first I was told that someone would call me back and the call was escalated. NO ONE HAS CALLED ME BACK!! So I was able to get inside and when I went to my unit I noticed that the lock was not unlocking. I never got a chance to get a new lot so I had the same lock that I was given. So apparently they took that lock off and put a fake lock on there to make it seem like it was like but the whole time my storage unit was open. I was just at the unit the day before I was denied access so this had to been done as soon as I was denied access. I've called them it had to leave a voicemail. They never returned my call until after the police showed up several hours later to create a police report. They then called me back and instead of addressing the issue of my unit being broken into they were bringing up the fact about late fees and payment. Not once today acknowledge or show any concern of my unit being broken into and me being denied access on the contract states that it should be after the 5th. These people only care about taking your money and hoping you default so that they can hurry up and go in your unit and steal things that they want. I was also told that I would have to get the police in order for them to review the footage which I find very disrespectful and inconsiderate!! This is costing me so much money and it is extremely frustrating to deal with ... Read more

1000% irritated with them and I haven't even been here over 2 weeks!! For one they barley answer the phone, u have to constantly leave voicemails and wait for someone to call you back which takes them forever. Than you have to wait for them to email the property manager who clearly is too busy and unconcerned with his property! I specifically requested and paid for a unit with electricity. It has been over 5 days that I have asked someone to fix the outlets in my unit and no one has called me back. The move-in process was fairly easy they took my money no problem very fast and very responsively! At the time of the move-in I also informed the agent that the area around my unit was filthy! He told me that he will have the maintenance come clean it up the next day. That was not done and still has not been done. I had to take my time and supplies clean it myself! I can not get any work done with an outlet so they are costing me money, on top of that I requested a manager call back for those issues and also to contact me about overpayment. When I mentioned to the agent about being overcharged she begins talking off the wall saying I moved in at a discounted rate and their goal is to raise the rent until it gets to the actual unit price. I re explained that I moved in at a certain amount and should of paid that amount NOTHING MORE! she begins to say that I have to prepay for a yr to lock in a rent price with no increase, at this point I just requested a manager because it is very clear they can only assist with taking ur money(Again I STILL HAVENT RECEIVED A CALL!!!! So now it 5hrs later and calling for a follow up, the agent is telling me there is no notes about my request or outlet issue and I have to rexplain everything, and wait for them to email the property manager AGAIN, WHICH IS WHAT THE PREVIOUS AGENT CLAIMED TO DO BUT THERE WAS NO RECOED OF THAT so now I'm furious and the agent hangs up on me as if she didn't already have an attitude. ... The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.
