MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH HERE! We had no problems with the actual storage facilities. We had a problem with them removing the fence around the storage facility when they wanted to expand without any notice to us that the units would not be secure. In addition, when we emptied our units we were told we wouldn't be getting out full deposit back. When I questioned this, I was told we had one late fee. THEY TOLD ME THEY DO NOT NOTIFY OF LATE FEES; THEY JUST TAKE THEM OUT OF YOUR DEPOSIT WHEN YOU LEAVE (they claim this is in the paperwork I initially signed, but it is not). I was also told that I would only get my full security if the office manager La Donna is "in a good mood." That if she is she can be very reasonable, otherwise I won't get it. We tried to speak with La Donna, who maintained that despite the fact that there were mail delays due to COVID, she was still taking the late fee. When we got our check, she actually took TWO, taking $80 from our deposit, I suppose simply because we questioned her. When we questioned this, La Donna told me I was lying about what her office staff said (!!) and basically that they can take whatever late fees they want. She is very caustic and unpleasant. Her mannerisms are extremely rude. It's almost like she doesn't understand how business works, so her response is just to get defensive and angry and not make any sense at all. Needless to say, we had no recourse to her lack of logic or proof of supposedly receiving our payments late. Finally, we discovered someone LIVING in a storage unit next to ours. He did not seem completely sober either. My advice: find a place that behaves more ethically and that has a reasonable person in charge. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Stonecrest Self-Storage - 236 Ceritos Trail has to offer. These amenities include 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Stonecrest Self-Storage - 236 Ceritos Trail can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 100 to 400 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Stonecrest Self-Storage - 236 Ceritos Trail come at a variety of prices, starting from $66 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $250 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
