Car storage units in Castro Valley, CA, and nearby areas

I give the actual Public Storage facility with Kyle the manager a 5plus star review. That is the star rating above. There was no way to specifically review on line booking and customer care/service. But I give Public storage phone customer service a 1 star review and that is what I Am going to discuss in the narrative. It has no Reflection on actual facility on Redwood rd nor Kyle. Again this a review regarding on line booking/phone customer care/service and on line booking. The phone customer Service for Public Storage is horrible. I booked a unit on line with a July 30th move in confirmed with the property manager on site. I was at the facility ready to move in and the property manager told me my reservation was cancelled four days prior no reason noted and he could not make it active. He provided the Customer Care phone number for Publiic Storage and I called. After over 30 minutes on hold I spoke to a representative. I Provided them with my confirmation number and the price secured for the unit. I was told they cancelled it but I could rebook it same location same unit for over $200.00 more a month. I received no notice, email or phone call regarding the same. After over 2 hours on the phone and two female representatives one being named rah rah. the bottom line was tey did not know why it got cancelled 4 days prior without notice but it was now gone.Only option provided was make a new reservation for over $200.00 a month same size unit. No more needs to be said. Beware if you make online reservations or talk with customer service/care.

Michelle was great! I came by to look at the facility and she showed me several options and explained how it all works. I signed up that day and started using my unit right away. Easy and highly recommend!!
