I rented 3 years ago. After 1 year my rent increased $9. On the 2nd year anniversary it went up $12 On the 3rd year it went up $90!! How can anyone justify this? The owners know I am dying from COPD with Congestive Heart Failure, have lost my home my job, n my health. I rent the only double unit n I feel like they are forcing me to lose all my possessions now. I'm struggling to sell n condense because I can't afford this increase. What kind of person does this?! The kind that believes in the Almighty Dollar and not human compassion !! ... Read more

I just received a more than 20% increase for my next year's rental on my unit. 3 years ago I rented the unit for $185. It is now $232. I guess they figure once they have you, you're a captured guest. The facility it seems has an unscupulous owner. I wonder if they would feel the same way if everyone went on strike and stopped paying rent at the same time. Could they afford the expense to throwing us all out at once? Probably not. As a disabled person with nothing more than time on my hands this facility has picked the wrong person to eff with. If you are planning to keep your storage beyond you original contract date, I suggest you find another facility that doesn't increase your rent by more than 25% when your contract ends and you go month to month. ... Made 2 bids through storagetreasures.com on units here from this location and won both. The manager of this location was super super nice, and professional. He was beyond understanding when our drive there ended up taking us much longer then expected and was patient and courteous. He worked with us in many ways to ensure the whole process was a success and we were beyond thankful to him for that. I would store my own belongings here if ever I needed to, just based off how he treated us and the great condition of facility and property. . ... Read more

I found this self storage facility through Yelp. They deserve all the glorious praise and I have rented from about 5 storage places throughout California. They were by far the most reasonable in price, ease to deal with and friendliest in nature. Highly recommended! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that SuperStorage - 17175 Sierra Hwy has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate and First Floor Access. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by SuperStorage - 17175 Sierra Hwy can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 48 to 180 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by SuperStorage - 17175 Sierra Hwy come at a variety of prices, starting from $68 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $303 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
