Very disappointed I have been in this yard for almost 3 years and my Pontoon has been parked in the same spot for almost 3 years. I discontinue two other spots that I did not eat because I was in between campers and I sold my other boat. Come to find out I was being charged for three space steel after I gave notice that I did not need the other two And was told I had to move my pontoon out of a space that I liked that I’ve had almost 3 years because they messed up on their paperwork. Not sure how you give somebody a spot that there’s a pontoon in for the last 3 1/2 years. I have moved my stuff to the RV vault, which is a lot cleaner nicer, and no water problems ... Read more

Whether I’m a costumer or not, I will review this location based off vouches and true stories. Do not do business with these people, or the people they affiliate with. This business is nothing but unprofessional, thiefs, liars, and the list could go on. Ask them what happened to the missing trailer? Oh that’s right they will lie their way out of it. If you want your personal belongings in a safe and secure area do not rent this place. ... Read more

We started storing our camper in March with the old owners. In April new owners came on and everything went down hill from there. Our first interaction with Alyce was her yelling and calling names to another customer. After that was done, we went in to pay our storage for the month of April and she was clearly upset so we gave her the benefit of the doubt. She said she wasn’t supposed to be here long doing this job because she’s not customer facing. We then paid our storage for May on 4/30 and received a call from our friend a few days later, as he stores his camper there too, stating our camper was no where to be found. Long story short, they claimed our camper had moved several spots and they towed it out. Alyce claimed to mark our camper with a tow notice on 4/30 but when we were there that day to pay rent, our camper was in our spot with no notice. Long story short, we found out that they did mark a camper for tow but it wasn’t ours. They had the wrong camper towed and made us pay $50 before they would allow the tow yard to release our camper. They apparently own the tow yard next door. After explaining to the owner, Joe Harrington, what happened he refused to refund our $50 and the May rent because my husband yelled at Alyce from our car (she was still inside) on our way out. Maybe he shouldn’t have, but anyone in our situation would’ve been upset thinking our camper was stolen and then found in the tow yard next door with no explanation. Not to mention Alyce wouldn’t call or answer us the night it went missing, and then wouldn’t even talk to us the next day when trying to work this out. The new owners are terrible people and have the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Don’t let them tell you they have the best/cheapest price, we found one just north of there that’s actually cheaper and better spots with no water issue! We picked this place because it was slightly more convenient for us but it’s not worth the headache they put you through! Beware! 5/17 response to the owner below: Thanks for responding, Joe. It’s unfortunate that you weren’t involved when the incident occurred, because you would then know that there was no threats made, the adams county sheriff from the first night and Brighton Pd from the second day would be able to inform you. We never actually had the opportunity to speak with Alyce, because she wouldn’t answer the phone. The sheriff let Alyce know that it was borderline theft what you did, which is when she agreed to meet the next day. Again, you guys never admitted to making a mistake, had you done that, we probably wouldn’t have been upset. If you look at our contract, you towed our camper from that exact spot, the spot we were assigned to along with our make and model to know it should be there. You also would’ve seen the note from the original owners that measurement was needed and to my understanding that’s when the ID sticker is placed on the camper as well. My husband asked Alyce on two occasions to do this, but she was too busy and said she would do it later. Her lack of response is 100% the reason to blame for your company’s error. And since you obviously have no idea what your contracts say, I’m happy to provide a copy. Which also states that you tow the camper out after 36 days of abandonment or that the wrong spot fee was $45, but Alyce said the charge was $50 and that’s what we were being charged for. I don’t believe our contract states a $50 fee for being rude, so again I can send a copy. ... Read more

The sites are less than desirable! It looked great during the summer not great when there is any type of weather event. It also takes a great deal of time to dry out since they need to resurface the lot with some rock or recycled base. Their drainage could also use a little work. When we chose to leave our camper was literally frozen into the spot. We were told we should have just said something and they would have found us another spot which I appreciate. Unfortunately the entire facility is like this unless you have a very small camper and can park closer to the office building. Make sure you give three days notice as well or you will be charged for the month. It is clearly stated in the contract so just be aware of that little tid bit this part was our fault not the owners. @ Owners of Henderson Mini Storage: It is interesting to me that you took me calling to find out when my year was over as a renewal of my spot. I didn’t sign another contract nor did I state at that time I would be staying. In my review of your business I clearly agreed that I did not give the proper notice therefore paid you the $52. As far as being angry about not getting the discount that is far from true. I never once said I was unhappy about that fact. Honestly I don’t care about a whole $52 in savings. Also I guess people can only move their campers during the summer months according to Jim. As far as getting even sure seems like that was your intent during your response. I was attempting to be nice and not call out your poor customer service however your response makes me regret trying to at least be the bigger person. I read the reviews before deciding to store our camper at your facility and saw the complaints about your customer service. I thought at that time I would overlook that and take a chance. Probably should have listened to the other reviews and moved on to a different facility from the beginning. After your wife called me and treated me like a child she decided to hang up on me at the end of the call. Then you post my personal and business info in your response of my review? What professional business owner would do that? Makes me wonder whom else you shared my personal info with. I would appreciate it if you would remove my email and phone numbers from your response. It is clear that you do not like being negatively reviewed and I am sorry that I have to. But the facts remain the same. Your sites are not well maintained and need work. Your spots are more expensive than other storage facilities in the area. And last but most certainly not least your customer service leaves little to be desired as demonstrated but your response to my review. ... Read more
