I’ve had a great experience with A Plus Storage. The staff James, Josh, and Jamie are all so professional and helpful when it comes to answering questions and navigating the facility. Over time, I’ve seen a lot of positive changes. The team has done an excellent job cleaning up the facility, which has really improved the environment and keeps away the negative influences that sometimes give storage places a bad name. James is doing an outstanding job managing the place, and I really appreciated the specials they offered when I first got my unit, it made moving and relocating so much easier. I’ve even recommended this facility to several friends and family members who needed affordable storage. Jamie is always so sweet and helpful, and Josh greets me with a smile and often lightens the mood with a joke or two. The facility is well-kept, clean, and safe, and I feel confident leaving my belongings here. Thanks to the entire team for their hard work and excellent customer service! ... Read more

Beware !!! I just want to share and thank the manager Kia for her willingness attitude to go above & beyond to accommodate every customer I've seen her interact with and her being attentive to addressing my concerns that I have/had. This business would not operate or run as smoothly and effectively as it does if it wasn't for great employees still existing in a world where customer service is pretty much non-existent. When I initially moved in I had nothing but great things to say about this facility however; I did have an issue that I hope will be rectified and handled accordingly soon. Update: DO NOT bring your items here AT ALL !!! This facility either has employees or regular civilians just off the street able to access your unit during business hours since clearly THIS COMPANY CAN NOT OR WILL NOT investigate a specific date and time of how my items have mysteriously gone missing out of my unit since I was alerted the same day exact day I went into the facility to pay my bill. I didn't read anywhere in my contract that if the lock is not secure the facility will notify you to let you know we're going to put a lock on your unit and tell you could come back and since this is facility went out of their way to call me to let me know that my lock was not securely on the same day I left they were going to kindly put a lock on for me until I could come back I come back and mini items are missing you be the judge and decide if this was a random civilian or someone who had access to my unit since I didn't ! They make you get insurance and clearly the insurance is pointless ! I find it extremely hard to believe that no one wants to admit fault of course on this matter but I love how the company basically forces you to get insurance and then of course when it's time to use it. Its now a million clauses why they can't. Beyond ridiculous!! What's the point of having insurance? And even if I didn't have insurance, this facility did not have to notify me that they were going to put a temporary lock on my unit the SAME EXACT DAY I LEFT until I could get back to secure my items but since they did now they do not want to take any ownership of what's missing from possibly that same day, BUT told me and the police officer that their camera system works amazing. Apparently not! The nerve for them to say it doesn't look like forced entry. It's also amazing the have av small clause in their insurance policy that even if you have a burglary and you can't explain for the items basically imaginary disappearing even with the facility having well equipped cameras and basically assuring you temporary securement with a temporary lock that they provide which I had no access too until I returned to the building. I guess a thorough investigation was not done. Because if it was done they would have seen exactly what happened before my unit was locked by there employee before they closed that day, more than likely less than 4 hours of recorded footage that I'm sure no one care to check, because if they did. We would know who did it that exact day and if it wasn't that day. Then it happened definitely during the time period when only your employees had access. Beware!! Force you to get insurance basically for nothing. (Update) as of July 2025 a year later, a reply from the owner, but left no details of who to contact or any name that would be greatly appreciated if you could provide that! Guess to make it looks like they care now ... Read more

Horrible Experience, incredibly poor customer service from James the new manager, when I brought to his attention the discrepancy in hours change. He was incredibly dismissive, walking away and was not willing to come to an amicable dissolve. I have been a customer at this facility, for 3 years under Kia and never experienced this level of disrespect. Leadership professional development is needed. (Hours of operation online do not align with hours on window and when they decide to open.) ... Read more

We have been with A+ Storage for about 3 years now. The NEW Property Manager, James, is Fantastic. The premises are clean, the restrooms are now locked and very clean. People were always in the halls and now they are kept so clean and without the hassle of people in the middle of the hall leaving a lot of stuff there. The prices are very affordable, and the units are under AC which is a PLUS in this Florida weather. Thanks James. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that A+ Storage - 1403 NW 40th Avenue has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by A+ Storage - 1403 NW 40th Avenue can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 200 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by A+ Storage - 1403 NW 40th Avenue come at a variety of prices, starting from $19 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $350 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
