John is so helpful! He takes initiative and accountability on all fronts. He is friendly and personable. Every time I stop by, he is working on something else to elevate the business! So much better than my last storage unit! ?? ... Read more

Easy to access. Units are clean. a dolly is also provided at the door to make it easier to get your things to your unit. No contact reservation or Anything needed. The only issue I have is I've worked 3rd shift my entire life so I'm on a night shift schedule and their hours kinda keep me from being able access my things without me having to rush or stay away or wake up earlier. Which I didn't know until after I had rented the unit. But I love how secure they are. ... Read more

This storage facility was right on time. I was homeless and I didn't have very much money and the storage facility was right across the street from the homeless shelter where I was staying so I was able to get a good deal and keep all my belongings. With this facility under New Management I saw huge improvements on the cleanliness, the safety and security. The manager is very professional and has made sure that EVERYONE is following along with the policies in place which I love because it keeps order. I would recommend this facility over ALL facilities in the area. Why? Because I rented at several facilities and it doesn't get better than GoStoreIt. And it wouldn't be me if I didn't add this: the day is coming when JESUS returns. If you don't remember anything or know anything about the Bible remember this.. you have to be baptized in the water and in the spirit. This one commandment covers all: love thy neighbor as yourself and love God with all your heart mind and soul those two commandments covers all commandments. The Lord has blessed me with dreams and visions of what's to come. I share all my experiences with him on my Facebook page: Eliyah Church Burney. He is coming and it's sooner than you all think. The question is ARE YOU READY? ... Read more

Go store it in Pensacola is a mess, I have a unit on the 2nd floor and Elevators have been out over 4 months and in the process of getting help moving to the 1st floor (I rented a unit out of my pocket on 1st) there was nobody at the office for a week or so and when someone came in they locked my unit on the 2nd floor, due to being late on payment...but I wasn't late trying to arrange getting all belongings to the first and no employees were present for a good week or so, nobody came in or was at the office during that time (Won't disclose what happened with employee) but nobody was there or returning calls. This all was a mishaps in the company and not me. Now I am about to lose everything I have if this unit is not given back to me so I may move it to the first floor as intended before it was late. Due to Elevators out so long everyone from the 2nd floor was moved to the 1st by management that was filling in and the day after my unit was locked...go figure ?? Some were compensated for their trouble of Elevators out even. But I paid out of pocket for unit on 1st floor and was intended to have all moved before the 2nd floor unit was even late, its a mess. A month or so back the main gate was stuck open for two weeks and out of 50 or 51 cameras only half function properly. All I know is i didn't do anything to have my belongings at risk as they are, wasn't my fault no employees were present during that time amongst everything else. To whom it may concern I would like my unit opened for me to move it to the 1st floor and have only.one unit as should have been. Unit 2039 ... Read more

Very unreliable place the gate locks people in or out often and nobody comes to let us out. i had to go there three times a day to get my bike and they kicked me out for loitering. a lot of people got kicked out recently and lost half a months rent at least. its was only convenient to store my ebike ... After getting our stuff in store here, we’ve had nothing but problems and the manager is NEVER around. This place has homeless peeing & pooping everywhere on property & today we’re literally locked out of the facility because there’s an error code on the gates & of course the manager isn’t around or able to be contacted by the upper management. We literally have our U-Haul & can’t even get to our stuff for our sons move to Tampa. What a sweet & helpful office manager! ... Read more

All of the 5 star reviews for this place have to be fake. I only got a unit on the 2nd floor because there was an elevator. The elevator did not work the whole 5 months I had my unit, I called and told them twice. None of the doors have handles so it’s almost impossible to get to the second floor. I tried to be optimistic since the rent was so cheap, but then my rent was randomly raised to $80 after 4 months of having my stuff there. This place is trashed and people definitely live in here. The people that own this place just want your money they don’t care about your stuff/concerns. ... Read more

Second story is hard to get to with the personal elevator. Not a freight elevator. Homeless people living there and smells like it too. On bright side though homeless people where nice and opened gate for me every time coming in. Walked into a homeless man naked in bathroom bathing in sink and did not lock the door. There are signs everywhere for them not to be living there but management does not monitor it. Prices go up quickly. Got a text last month saying thx for payment then next thing know there is a lock in it and can't get in unit. And now owe 500 because of late fees. Stay as far from this storage unit as you can ... I was assisting a client in finding storage for office equipment. The site is entirely self-service, with a lovely lady from North Carolina available to take your call and answer your questions. The appeal is the very low 1st month rate. However, the rental is month-to-month ONLY and the lease gives the owner the option to raise your rate to ANY AMOUNT and you have 30 days to accept this new HIGHER RATE or move out. There is no way I could ever advise anyone to give unlimited power to increase your monthly rent to any amount every 30 days. Only sign this lease if you don't want to read it and DON'T CARE HOW MUCH YOU WILL PAY IN THE FUTURE (next month). ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
