Over six years, the rent went from $75 to $350-- much higher than other nearby facilities. Their business model is to raise the rent because they know moving is a hassle. But enough is enough so I moved. Otherwise only okay; they cut the cord to lamp in the unit so they would save money on electricity. Really? At $350 a month I can't get a lamp so I can use it in the evening? ... Read more

Then they call and harass you for payment after they auctioned your things and then have workers that say it's okay when they know the next day is auction that's what happened to me here and then play dumb I would recommend going somewhere else you know they still think I owe them paid in full as far as I'm concerned.... Public Storage is hard to work with, inconvenient to use, wildly expensive, and has unbelievably bad communication with their customers. Lack of communication leads to bigger problems that they then refuse to help solve. DO NOT USE UNLESS ITS YOUR LITERAL ONLY OPTION. if i could give 0 stars, i would. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
