Read some helpful reviews of Go Store It at 39 Gerber Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

The facility is well secured & very clean! I love the virtual agent access in the lobby. I wish you could contact someone without being on site, though. Know that no one will answer a call or text or DM or email. If you are ok having to go on site to communicate with them, then this spot is perfect. ... Read more

I would have given 5stars but, due to my limited on-line skills, I ended up with a larger unit than I intended and, because there is no one IN PERSON to talk with, I just kept it. I would so much prefer to deal directly with a human being rather than a random person who appears on a screen, followed next time by another random person. On the positive side, all my interactions with the “random persons” have been pleasant and the facility itself is clean and easy to navigate moving items in and out. ... Read more

We rented this once and choose it because of it's great location. Then we wanted a larger unit and they wouldn't pro-rate it, so we had to temporarily get two units and then cancel the old one. We cleared out the old unit before we were going to be charged again, but you can't talk to a human, just the ai person. It took 3 calls before they finally cancelled the unit, but after being charged again for the unit we didn't want. Then they had to issue a refund. Then, after we agreed to rent to new unit for $113, they increased it to $268 after 3 months. We didn't want to do this, so we decided to move to another place (much better with real humans running it) but I couldn't go by myself to move things out since there were so many homeless person there I didn't feel safe without my husband. The better place is further down on Sweenten Creek next to the Uhaul. Better laid out, and more reasonable. ... Read more

The storage facility is great. I’m very happy with my unit and the ease it was to move in. However, I’m only leaving 4 stars because my rent went up $40 after the first 3 months - if it was even that long. ... Read more

The application was easy and quick. Great customer service. Only issues I encountered was the day I went o add my belongings to the unit there was broken glass all over the floor as you go in. Also there is a lack of lighting. There is no light inside or above the unit so I had to use a rechargeable lantern to put my belongings in neatly. ... Read more

It's difficult trying to contact someone that works for the building I never got a call back after calling them because they put a lock on my unit even though I had no missing payments. It also took them days after I made my first complaint to cut the lock which they said they didn't even know why it was there. ... Read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. If you in any way need a live person to resolve an issue be prepared to not get a response. You can leave a voicemail when you call that won’t be returned or you can put in a chat request which might be returned…..but it will take 5-10 minutes to get a response to a simple question.. Side note: also use this company if you also like your rates being raised almost 100 dollars mere months after you secure a unit. I’m emptying my unit at the end of the month and will never use them again. ... Read more

Danielle was so amazing over the phone to walk me through everything. Thank you so much. She read the contract for me as well in certain areas I had questions. At first I was hesitant renting here because of what I’ve heard. But Danielle was so great at explaining everything and I rented the unit. Thank you Danielle ... Read more

Pros: Clean, well-lit, safe & secure. The facility is on 3 levels but since it is built on a hill, every level is ground level. Carts for load-in/load-out are available just inside the entrance door. Cons: Rent increase. I rented a 5x10 unit for $53 in September of 2024. In December I received a notice that $15 of insurance was added, so now we're at $68. Last month, another notice that the rent was moving to $94 (a 77% increase) plus the $15 insurance would take the rent to $109. So in a little more than 6 months, total rental cost more than doubled. I vacated my unit 2 days before the new rent went into effect. Buyer (or in this case renter) be ware. ... Read more

I’ve been a customer at this location for many years and have always had a great experience and opinion of this business. Until today. Following the devastation of Hurricane Helene, I downsized my belongings and moved units in the same facility to a smaller one to save money, from $95 to $74. Three months after I moved units, I’ve been sent a rent increase notice. In previous years the increase has been gradual and reasonable. $8 or $9 at a time. I think once it was $11. No biggie. This time my rent was increased from $74 to $104. That’s a 41% increase. This is how Go Store It treats its community six months after the worst natural disaster in our regions history shatters the local economy? What’s worse is the same unit on their website is being advertised as $88 to new customers. Why would they treat a legacy customer this way? What’s the justification for this large of a rent increase? I wouldn’t recommend a business that treats its customers this way. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Go Store It - 39 Gerber Road has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Go Store It - 39 Gerber Road can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 50 to 200 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Go Store It - 39 Gerber Road come at a variety of prices, starting from $49 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $210 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
