I got a 5x5 Unit and its fairly its pretty nice and clean. Prices are subject to market fluctuations and you'll need insurance. You can call up the property manager during business hours and they are fairly helpful. I was also able to use my own lock! ... Read more

My husband and I were trying to find someone to help us today. After several minutes, we ran into what we thought was someone else looking for help or maybe had a storage unit there. The woman was dressed in regular clothes and had a child with her. She didn't act or look as if she worked there. Before we could ask her anything, she and the little girl walked right past us into what we now know was the office. There was a man putting a lock on his storage unit and we asked him where we could find some help. He told us the woman with the little girl was working today and we could go inside and talk to her. I was incredulous. She looked and acted so unprofessionally towards us that we left. We went home and my husband found another company who rents storage buildings. I sincerely hope you do better, Public Storage. And I hope no one ever asks me for my thoughts on your company. ... Read more

I met Sarah and I think she said she was the property manager. She was sweeping the floors and I was moving storage units. I needed to change what I had done and she helped me for a long time and really took care of my needs and what I needed. Even though it was a Saturday and she needed to go to another building before her day was done. I enjoyed working with her and would recommend using this facility because of Sarah. ... Read more

The property is average. The door to the dumpster has a broken hinge and has for about a month, maybe more. Since it is an unmanned property, they don't know when things are broken and contacting Public Storage is a pain in the @$$. There are no humans at the property so you have to contact a person through the kiosk, or call, which is also time consuming. Overall I was going to give them a moderate rating, then when we cancelled our unit on Jan 7th we were informed that they do not prorate. I'm sure it was in the fine print of the exceptionally long document you sign when you start with them, but holding 24 days worth of payments is shady and wrong. At least at Pinnacle Storage (which I strongly recommend) they prorate up to the 10th of the month. I know that Public Storage will rent my unit out within the week because of the demand in this area, but they gladly steal money from their customers who leave. I guess they don't care about repeat or return business. #Shady #PublicStorage ... Read more

Very happy with the customer service. There was a slight snafu getting into our unit but we were able to connect with a live person through the kiosk and they got us into another unit right away. Amanda followed up a couple times over the next few days to make sure everything was good. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
