Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 10315 SW Barbur Blvd, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Thank God the new property manager, Christine, is at this location now. I went in to address a rate hike and give them a mouthful for the disastrous management that has included people sleeping in units, thefts, and elevator outages. Instead, Christine took care of me right away and was very on top of her stuff. And now I am going to continue storing my things here. I hope corporate understands how much of a gem of an employee they have in her. She is turning this place around, all for the better. ... Read more

1 star is not low enough to do justice to this heinous company. My rent increased from $120 - $216 within 6 months of getting a unit. Unable to afford such rapid increases, I cancelled the space in person with a sales associate, who failed to make it final online and I was charged a full months rent despite having vacated the unit. 10/10 do not recommend. ... IF IT WAS POSSIBLE, I'D SAY -5 STARS. Experienced a 55% increase on my rent over 2 years. Halfway through my lease term I get a notice from the staff that my unit was broken into. After several calls and emails, they did nothing to assist me with the matter. Spent over $500 to fly back and assess my unit's condition for myself because they couldn't be bothered to walk down a hallway. Finally moved out and escaped this nightmare company and situation. Cleared the unit on the 3rd of the month, and after everything I'd been through and their pathetic "customer service," they didn't refund me a single cent. Places like this deserve to go out of business for the way they treat customers and operate. SAVE YOURSELF THE PAIN AND STAY AWAY FROM PUBLIC STORAGE - NO MATTER THE LOCATION. ... Read more

PLEASE GET MORE CARTS ON SITE.. Aside from pricing going up exponentially, which a lot of storage units do. My main problem is with the lack of carts for use. When I first started renting here, there were probably 8 carts on site. I never had trouble getting one for use when I came to my storage unit. Now the last 3 times I have come, i have had to wait more than an hour for a cart to use because there seems to only be 2 remaining on site. I am currently waiting for a cart as I write this. Been waiting for nearly an hour and a half now. NOTE: They do not pro-rate you on move out. I moved out the morning of the 2nd, but am being charged for the entire month which is pretty horrible in my opinion. ... Read more

The facility is right off the freeway, making it easy to get in and out. I appreciate that its kept clean, and well lit. There is also a covered dock to keep you dry while you load and unload. The staff was helpful. I wasn't able to find a cart that they offer for convenience. I asked the young man working at the counter, and he was friendly. His name was Will, and he went out of his way and found a cart for me to use. Thank you. ... Read more

Renter Beware- after four months they raise the rent by 35%, I see from other reviews that they may also do yet another rent increase in six months, leaving you paying almost double. Plan to move out right before the end of the month as they will not prorate. Unless you only need for the short term I would avoid. It's not even supply and demand, as there are several available units for the same initial price listed on the website. Not everyone will have the ability to move things again or to pay such a massive increase. ... Read more

I know for many of us, renting and moving your things into a storage unit is never fun but my experience at Public Storage has always been top notch. Units are clean and well-maintained as is the facility overall. My most recent experience was entirely online from the reservation to execution of the rental agreement. Very seamless experience. I received texts the day my rental began that outlined how to access the property and the location of my unit. The *only* piece of feedback I would offer is that I never received any instructions on getting into the unit itself. Based on prior experiences, I expected to visit the office and secure my keys. Unfortunately, the office was closed at the time of my first arrival. I left a message and got a prompt callback from Kim about an hour and a half later. She was very helpful and explained how to get into the unit (hint: rip off that blue zip tag) and where to find my keys. Thanks Kim! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 10315 SW Barbur Blvd has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 10315 SW Barbur Blvd can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 20 to 200 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 10315 SW Barbur Blvd come at a variety of prices, starting from $43 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $364 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
