Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 245 West Chester Pike, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Began renting this week and already had a very unpleasant experience. I went to exit the gate and it wouldn’t open. Panic and anxiety kicked in, the screen read “see manager” however, I’ve never seen an actual live staff person here. I’m calling no answer, scanning QR codes for chat bots no help. Finally once out of freight mode, I use the walk through gate. I see a staff person, explain to her I couldn’t get out, she then puts her finger up as to say wait, I told her the gate wouldn’t open for me to get out. She immediately said “You shouldn’t have been in here if the gate won’t open!” Excuse me, then proceeds with her conversation before giving any clarity. This woman was unprofessional and rude, she clearly needs to be trained on how to communicate with customers. ... Read more

Fantastic facility. Very organized. Very clean. Able to get in and out. Find parking. Get everything loaded up within probably about 15 minutes of arriving and everything is automated so I was able to just put my code in. Get in unlock my unit. Do what I needed to do. Lock it back up and use my code to get out. Great experience so far! ... Read more

The customer service team at Public Storage is exceptional, and their on-site associate, Maria, is just amazing. She is a wonderful ambassador for Public Storage. Her engagement, enthusiasm, and customer relationship management is textbook, and should be a model for customer service associates in any industry. She is a true gem! Who knew that the process of renting a storage unit could be the highlight of my day! They took a bad situation - having my lease cancelled by my former landlord - and turned it into a very positive experience. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 245 West Chester Pike has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 245 West Chester Pike can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 245 West Chester Pike come at a variety of prices, starting from $54 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $412 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
