DO NOT RENT HERE. THEY HAVE RATS AND DO NOT CARE. I rented here almost a year, paid $103 a month for a small storage. Did not have much, but a few items. NO FOOD. I travel for work and came back into my unit to get a monitor out that I needed while I was in town. As i proceeded to open the door the first thing i noticed was a BIG RAT dead in the corner of my unit. I immediately contacted the office with no response due to the time. Called customer service just to be lied to and told Maintenance would contact me with next steps. Just to be told by the property manager when she came in there is no maintenance. She told me this was normal, and there was NOTHING she could do. No assistance, no baits, no coupon, no kiss my ... NOTHING. The only thing she told me was if i did not want the unit anymore I need to get my things out before I have to pay another months worth of rent. I had insurance but insurance does not identify urine and feces as damage. ALL OF MY THINGS ARE RUINED WITH NO RESOLUTION. DO NOT RENT HERE. SINCE I HAVE NO RESOLUTION I WILL BE CONTACTING ATTORNEYS AND ALL LEGAL DEPARTMENTS. THIS INCIDENT TOOK PLACE IN JUNE. ... Read more

If you're looking for storage in Hermitage, you've gotta check out this Public Storage spot! I've had my unit here for four years now, and it's been great for me. Now, I'll admit... the neighborhood might not look the safest... but that's where Angela comes in. She's absolutely amazing... and the fact that she lives on premises makes all the difference... there's always someone keeping an eye on things... which brings huge peace of mind. Her customer service is also top-notch... she's super helpful and always around. I've never had a single issue with water getting into my unit... and I've never worried about theft. Now, bugs and rodents? Let's be real here... We're in FLIPPING TENNESSEE! You're going to have bugs and the occasional pest... especially not knowing what other people have stored. But having had storage units for like the last decade... I'm fine here because they're actively addressing this CONSTANTLY! I've never had spider webs on the outside of my unit... and they always have bait boxes placed around the property to manage pests. If you're worried... just talk to Angela... and I'm sure she can help facilitate some bait boxes for your unit or something. ... Read more

As an auction bidder, I sometimes deal with difficult people and sometimes run into trouble, completing my mission, but Angela has been the most helpful, caring, when I had my own personal crisis, she did her very best to help me. Continue cleaning out this unit here. Because I had a loved one in the hospital. I was falling short on my responsibility and thank God and Angela went to bat for me and I was able to finish my job thank you very much Angela thank you very much public storage. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
