I had a unit since 2020, before the storage facility was owned by Go Store It. I was very pleased that a human was available to help me over the phone in the late afternoon of a Saturday! Ms. Shannon Brown was very, very helpful, and she articulated all the instructions to me very clearly! She ensured that I had a pleasant, stress-free customer service experience worthy of a 5-star rating! ... Read more

Decent facility but the owners are predatory. Initial price is reasonable but they raise rents frequently. They raised my rent twice within a year on a small unit - from $to over $120 / mo. Stay away from this place! ... Read more

Corey at the Oakridge Tn. Location was extremely nice and very patient with me as I had to explain that my bank card had been fruaded and turned of and I am awaiting fed ex to deliver my new card so I can make a overdue payment. He was very understanding and I would recommend anyone that needs storage to come check them out and you can go in a room and touch a I pad thing and they will appear on a big screen and also it is really easy to hear and understand the audio vedio conversation 3i did not even have my hearing aids in ... After 2 months of rent they suddenly raised the rate from $164 to $387. My unit had two doors, one on each end, yet I was given only 1 lock and had to leave my stuff unsecured until I got another one. The doors were both damaged and got stuck if they weren't opened very gently and the back door had a leak unbeknownst to me until it was too late. Rain came in to the unit and damaged many of my items including irreplaceable keepsakes, furniture, photos, clothing, mattresses and more. Large Black spiders were everywhere about a week after move in and I had to set off a bug bomb which luckily seemed to get them under control. 2 weeks prior to moving out I visited my unit on a Sunday evening and entered the gate with my code but 20 minutes later I tried to leave and the gate was broken, trapping me inside. It would say thank you when I entered the code but never opened. I had to call the police who had to have the fire dept assist with getting me out of the facility which took over an hour, making me late for work. The officer informed me that not even a week prior the same thing happened to someone else they had to rescue. I moved out prior to my rent being due for Sept, unit empty and locks removed, and have told them this no less than 3 times this past month yet this evening 10/8/25 they just pulled nearly $900 from my account for a unit i vacated over a month prior. That was my rent money. I will never rent from them again if I need storage. ... Read more

Avoid. Crowded site, hard to get a truck or trailer to the 10x30 units. Biggest complaint is zero onsite staff or after hours support. Raised rent by 50% from our initial contract. Have spent HOURS on hold waiting to talk to someone who sounded like they were in India but not empowered to actually help. ... Read more

Ranjith was helpful today when I called to upgrade a unit I hadn't started using yet. I was able to change with no issues. I am a little concerned with sending a picture of my license via text. I had some issues understanding him but he was very patient with me and tried to explain again what he was trying to say. All in all a great experience. ... Read more

I’m writing this review on behalf of my mother who rented one of your climate controlled units. Upon entering the unit given to her, she discovered a sofa and loveseat left by the previous tenant. She reported it to the lady on site only to be told that they wouldn’t be able to remove it until a week later. Really? So we ended up removing it ourselves and it’s still sitting outside a week later. Now my mother is in the process of moving and we’re not able to enter the gate because the system is offline. I call Go Store It only to be put in contact with someone that’s not able to help me. He tells me the issue has been escalated and we probably won’t be able to access the unit until Monday and then proceeds to ask me if it’s urgent for me to enter it today. Today is Friday and we’re moving! Y’all need to make these inconveniences she’s been encountering right. Good customer service is obviously dead. If needed, I’ll be more than happy to offer some tips. ... Read more

I had a unit for about 5 years when they were oak ridge storage... since they changed their name to gostoreit it's been a mess ...I cleaned out my unit there today ..they are supposed to send me my initial security deposit and when I asked about it I was told that they would have to check on it...I had already paid for the entire month of October and they won't be paying for the days I won't be using it...so now someone can come along and rent the same and they can get double paid...they also charged me for insurance which I never asked for...I would never recommend anyone to use them...I cleaned and swept it out really good and turned my lock and key in their outside lockbox...it was unit C48... don't use them... never a live person in the office... everything is virtual...I wish the man who used to manage it was still there and I woulde still be there... gostoreit sucks?? . Logan has been rude and evasive...still haven't received my deposit yet and it's December 3rd.. I would appreciate you sending me what you owe me.. it's January 21 and still haven't received my refund yet... always keepth telling me that someone will get back with me and they never do ... Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Go Store It - 500 Scarboro Lane has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Kiosk Available, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Go Store It - 500 Scarboro Lane can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 360 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Go Store It - 500 Scarboro Lane come at a variety of prices, starting from $30 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $284 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
