A year ago this next month I was in need of a climate controlled storage unit and had called several places in search of the right unit. I believe AAA Storage was my third call, and let me tell you - they did not disappoint. I drove to their facility, inquired about the unit in person, and signed on the dotted line before I left. The service received was wonderful, and I've never had an issue in the year I've had my belongings stored at their facility. Convenient location and after hours access are a huge plus! If you're looking for a storage unit at an affordable price, AAA Storage in Bastrop is a must! ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods.
