Do not trust them with your belongings. Terrible experience. If you care about your items, do not store them here. We kept our life’s possessions in this facility under the assumption that it was climate-controlled. Instead, the lack of proper AC completely ruined our wood furniture, causing it to split and warp. On top of the climate issues, the entire facility is infested with rats. When we filed an insurance claim for the damage, the company denied it, using the excuse that "the AC works fine." It clearly does not. Save yourself the heartbreak and financial loss—go somewhere else. ... Read more

Building A is infested with rats. I reported the problem in July, moved my stuff out in February when my furniture was eaten by rats. I was offered a new unit but the agent told me Building B also had rats. The climate control is mediocre at best. The hallways in my building were nasty. We put our own traps inside until we could move our belongings. You could hear them running around in the roof. The smell of dead rat was nauseating when we moved out. Worst part is they didn't notify anyone. **I would post 0 stars but the review would not allow.** ... Read more

Kyah - she seemed great to start with but gave me wrong information about price lock for an year, suddenly 4 months after i get price increased from 178$ per month to 226$ , where the current price for a new unit was 104$ per month. When questioned they threw the contract at me which contradicted what she verbally told me. They are not at all accommodating, they have their own made up rules, fully contradict from each other. ... Friendly staff, great prices, clean units and GREAT customer service. They called me to let me know my unit was not locked properly. Apparently they walk around to check things out. I've been renting units for 40+ years and have never had this kind of service! ... Read more

Don't be fooled by the low rates if you plan to rent for more than a few months. After 5 months my rate went up 140%. My rate was not a "promotional rate" with a set expiration date. They are required to send a notification of the rate increase in advance but admittedly send it on a small postcard that's easy to overlook or discard. I was told the rate increase/new rate is comparable to other rates in the area but it's not. They were unwilling to offer a reduced rate or even what their current promotional offer is. The rep patronizingly offered to move to a smaller unit and pointed out that my rate was still a whole $7 below the full price rate. The whole experience feels very much like deceptive trade practice or at a minimum bad business. ... Read more

**Update on the robbery incident. We called the random corporate number listed in the response to this review as suggested. No luck. They told us to try to get in contact with a district manager named Gabe but he hasn’t answered our calls either.** We were initially very pleased with the service here, until a robbery occurred. We rented a storage unit while we are relocating to a new house. Our stuff was there for about a month before the lock to our unit was forcefully cut. When the facility noticed the lock missing, they tried to call us twice (we were out of the country for a spring break trip at the time and didn’t receive the calls) and then gave up on contacting us. We only knew of the robbery when we checked our credit card statement when they BILLED US FOR A REPLACEMENT LOCK. Only then did we learn that multiple units had their locks cut too (in the photos attached, the ones with the additional red locks also were broken into). No police report was made by the facility. There is evidence in the pictures attached of damage to the actual units by whatever tool was used to break in. In addition, we found our original lock that was cut too (see picture). When we expressed concern and asked to see the security footage, they basically said no and that we could call corporate if we had an issue with their policy. We even asked to not get charged for a replacement lock since this was clearly a break in, but the manager, Kyah, just gave us a generic response. She basically was trying to get us to stop talking to her and told us that this happens all the time and she wished it didn’t but she wasn't going to do anything more for us. She wouldn’t even give us the name or number of her boss to escalate. When we did finally see our unit, it was in shambles. Among many things, our daughter’s Christmas gifts (musical instruments including a keyboard, guitar and ukulele) were stolen. A bunch of our stuff was damaged in addition to the stolen goods. We promptly called the constables line to file a police report. So now we are super shaken up, upset at the manager for her cold demeanor, and STILL have to pay for the replacement lock - which even the police said was wild. The one thing I will say is that the associate who was helping us open our unit (I think her name is Ja’vonne) has been compassionate. When she saw the unit, she gave me a hug and eventually gave me the district managers number. Stay away from this facility unless you’re there to say hi to Ja’vonne who is the only helpful person there. Also, here is a picture of them refusing to show the constables the security footage too. Everything about this incident seems very fishy ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
