I have had my ups and downs with these guys. I’ve had a space here for about 20 years. And hope to for another decade. Recently they made a poor situation right and I feel that it has a lot to do with, Bridget, the manager. When I came across her she was out walking the property and I appreciated that. She made every effort it solve my problem and then took the extra step of going beyond. And for that I am grateful. I hope PS will always keep managers who care about this much about their customers. ... Read more

BEWARE!! My first, only, and hopefully last negative review I ever give. BEWARE — specifically ask to NOT deal with an employee named Brigette. My partner and I had two separate units at this location. We both properly vacated our units and have receipts proving our move-outs. Despite having full documentation, we were charged twice over the span of two months as if we never left. When we disputed the charges, Brigette threatened that if we didn't pay the balance, she would have it reported to our credit bureaus. We do not owe this money and we have proof. Threatening to report a false debt to damage someone's credit is a potential violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Texas Debt Collection Act (Texas Finance Code Chapter 392). Also worth noting — don't be fooled by the inflated positive reviews for this location. Brigette pressures every customer to leave a 5-star review before they walk out the door, which my partner fell for and I did not. Her own coworker sarcastically called her the "queen of reviews" and said that's "all she cares about." That tells you everything you need to know about where her priorities are — clearly not with actual customer service or handling billing correctly. If this ends up on our credit reports, we will be filing formal complaints with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the Texas Attorney General's office. Do not let this location bully you into paying something you don't owe. Zero stars. ... Read more

Their "temperature controlled" units are set to 83 degrees which makes it impossible to work out of them for most of the year. They do this to save a few bucks on their utility bills. I also consistently see water inside the building. If you plan on being in and out of your unit pretty regularly, I would avoid this place. ... Read more

Was out of town, tried to pay by phone on numerous occasions, was met with a recursive loop that kept leading me back to the main menu, so I was unable to make a payment. They sold my storage unit after less than one month, and without giving me a chance to pay the arrears. I tried to pay immediately once I got back in town. Conveniently, nobody was around. Good luck getting a human on the phone. Not sure what the divine penalty is for stealing a man's golf clubs, but a hexed colon seems like a good place to start. I earned my place on the course. ... I’m 60 years old. And they’re expecting me to carry my dead parent’s belongings up to the 2nd floor. I’ve had a unit here for 10 years and it’s never been like this. Run the other way. Anywhere but Public Storage, as I expect they’re all declining the same way. Edit: I did mange to get everything put away. But I also noticed that the A/C is still out. Three weeks ago I had been inside to arrange and prepare. I noticed the the A/C was off but assumed it was a one off. Apparently it’s a month long ordeal! I can’t have this. I had assumed I would keep my belongings here until my own retirement and resettlement. But it seems that it won’t be possible. I’m very upset. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
