I was robbed TWICE at this unit. The property manager only called me (when I got robbed the first time) after I contacted customer service multiple times, and still wasn’t helpful. Basically, customer service had to contact the manager so that the manager would contact me. The second time I got robbed, I contacted customer service, and they said the manager tried to call me, when the manager never actually tried at all. I am a university student working out of state. I don’t have a lot of money, I have 0 parental support because my parents are dead, I have no other family at all, no family friends in state, so everything I owned was in this unit because I had no other options. All this place can offer me is to put a ANOTHER lock on my unit- when the other ones clearly didn’t work. They won’t refund me for any damages beyond $5,000, or for the money I’ve paid for this unit. The service is horrendous. The $5,000 is a limit, by the way- it doesn’t mean they’ll even refund me that much. And that’s AFTER I go through proving that I own things, and that they were stolen, which we all know will be incredibly difficult. Don’t give this place your business. You’ll just get robbed, and then robbed some more. Edit: In case anyone is wondering, pretty much everything was stolen from my unit. If it wasn’t stolen, it was damaged, or destroyed. They took pretty much everything. They left a few clothes (they still took some of my clothes) and bedding (they still took some of my bedding), but that’s it. If you’re a woman and you don’t want a random person going through your underwear, taking some, and leaving the rest on a floor stained with rat droppings, after they’ve taken all your hygiene products, tech, medicines, etc, don’t give this place business. If you’re a man and you enjoy maintaining ownership over literally anything you own, go somewhere else. They even took MY DEAD MOM’S HAIR IN A LOCKET! IT WAS LABELED. ... Read more

I had a small issue with one of my rentals but like lightning Ty called me and remedied the situation. He anticipated my needs with cougar like instinct. Walking away from a bad experience feeling made whole is not as common as it used to be. I appreciate everything! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 1205 North Loop 12 has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Kiosk Available, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 1205 North Loop 12 can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 1205 North Loop 12 come at a variety of prices, starting from $17 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $195 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
