Was at my unit today, trying to get my stuff straight when the big Black woman that works there came and asked if I was "ok" cause I had been here all day and had this area all blocked up. Blocked where? People can drive past my car and if my stuff is in their way inside the hot box little units, they are grown and can say something themselves. It was almost 3 and I had been here since shortly after 12. That's hardly all day. Now I'm not leaving until I grow roots cause she came to me disrespectfully and said all this crap in front of the customer she brought down here. Ugh! Liked this place before she came back over here. ... Read more

At access storage they really live up to their name because apparently anyone can access INTO YOUR STORAGE. We hadn’t been here a week and someone had already broken into and stolen our items. We showed up to find our belongings missing. Front desk wasn’t very helpful and seemed uninterested. This was definitely a different experience as we’ve been renting units elsewhere for the past 2 years. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! ... Read more

I had three extremely disappointing encounters with an employee at Access Storage. Each time, they were eating and talking, which felt very unprofessional. 1. System Down: On my first visit, the employee failed to mention that the system was down. I was told to come back and I would get a call to let me know if it was still down. I waited for quite some time without any updates, only to have to visit again just to be told later that nothing could be processed. A simple heads-up would have saved me a lot of time. 2. Unhelpful Service: On my second visit, the same employee provided very little assistance. When I asked questions, they were dismissive and didn't seem interested in helping me resolve my issue. Again, they were eating and chatting during the interaction, which made it worse. 3. Incorrect Information and Overcharging: On my third visit, they incorrectly inputted my information for a U-Haul rental, which resulted in me being overcharged. When I brought this up, they seemed uninterested in fixing the problem. Overall, the level of customer service I received was extremely poor, and the lack of professionalism was evident in each of my encounters. I expect better from Access Storage. ... Read more

I stopped in to purchase a single box since the shipping company across the street was fresh out. The owners are a dynamic duo. They offer top notch service along with great conversation. They are very warm and welcoming. They even provided me with a couple of extra tokens of appreciation. I highly recommend their services. Thank you and I will be a repeat customer. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
