Just wanted to write a review for Ms. Thelma and her colleagues at this location. We have a business account with Public Storage and we have about 30 units all over San Antonio. We were trying to walk all units one weekend but realize we didn’t have quite all the info we needed to make our walk thru run smoothly. Ms. Thelma stayed with us about 45 min long writing all the codes and unit numbers we needed in order to do our job. At the end of the day I realized that we would have never finished doing what we were set out to do that day if she had not taken her time to help us with that. And for that I give her 5 ?? ... Edit:: I’ve been here for almost a year now and this place is RAT INFESTED and they’ve raised the prices. I went to the office and let them know about the rat droppings I found all over my unit and belongings, the lady just gave me bags of rodent poison and informed me the only downside is they may eat the poison, bury into my stuff, and die. I’ve caught 2 Rodents at this point Bc I don’t want them running around my indoor, climate controlled unit. I’ve come back and had to clean multiple times due to tons of rat dropping all over, you can even see droppings in the halls and I’ve heard them crawling around the space above the ceiling. I had to toss a some furniture because they burrowed into it and left droppings in it. I do not recommend this place. It was a great visit! Fernando really took care of us and went the extra mile to make sure we got a unit that fit our needs. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family?? ... Read more

I’m shocked this place has this high of a rating. Stay away, it’s infested with mice. We brought our Christmas things home to decorate and there was so much destroyed and NESTS were built in our bins. It’s disgusting, and I’m furious. We pay a small fortune for this space and decorations that have been in my family for decades we’re torn apart. We’ll be moving our things out immediately. ... Read more

The storage units at this location are rat infested. Even when your unit is clean, they do not maintain this property or any of the properties that I have rented from their other locations. See photos attached. This is just what’s above their ceilings. You will find more rat droppings in your storage. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
