My husband and I have been renting an apartment above Cougar Den storage. We've had a great experience here - reasonable rent, an updated apartment, we only share one wall with one set of neighbors, designated parking, washer and dryer in unit...I couldn't ask for a better place to live. The staff are kind, accommodating, and respectful. They frequently ask how things are in the apartment, how we like it, if there's anything that can be improved, etc. When friends/family come into our apartment, the reaction is always, "WOW! I didn't expect it to be so nice in here!" The storage units are older, but the property is very well maintained. They are constantly making sure the units and doors are in good condition, removing any weeds, painting, keeping things clean, and ensuring snow removal. If we have any storage needs in Provo in the future, we will be looking here first. ... Read more

Leaving a review here for those considering being tenants of the apartment complex that is on the same property and is managed by the same people as the cougar den storage since there is no where else to leave a review for the complex. The apartment is cute, recently renovated, and pretty affordable which was a huge plus. Whenever I talked about my landlord to anyone I always mentioned how great of a guy he was. The landlord does not have a grace period for late rent but he was kind and waived the late fee the one time I was a day late. When it came time for us to renew our contract, the option was not available to us. The landlord was completely unprofessional and disrespectful in how he interacted with me when I was trying to negotiate staying in our apartment. He tried to offer one of his other properties but my dignity is worth more than renting from someone who does not respect me. ... Read more

I had a great experience with Cougar Den Storage. Their prices are the best you can find. The units are in good shape and generally well-maintained. They don't have an exterior gate that requires an access code. Some may not like that but I think it is redundant anyway and it keeps costs down. All of the unit are plainly visible from the street. I have been a customer of Cougar Den Storage for 10 years. They have always been responsive and accommodating. They also have the very best rates, are centrally located and easy to get to plus the best part is that they have had excellent security with an on premises attendant. We looked at several different units on the property and all of them had concrete floors. The guy who said there were no concrete floors must have been mistakenly reviewing another location.
