Read some helpful reviews of Springville Self Storage at 63 North 2000 West, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I would not recommend this company. They refused to return our deposit because they claimed a key was missing, even though we never lost a key. The issue appears to have stemmed from an employee failing to properly document that we were only given two keys in the first place. Rather than investigating the discrepancy or taking responsibility for a possible mistake in their records, we were simply told that the employee “doesn’t work here anymore” and that “a contract is a contract.” Apparently, that means I am expected to pay for an employee’s mistake. When we tried to resolve the issue, we were met with rude, unprofessional, and sarcastic responses rather than respectful customer service. One response we received was: “I applaud that you moved your stuff out prior to the next billing, that’s how you lose a little of the deposit to avoid paying for an additional month. Very smart.” This came across as condescending and inappropriate, especially from a business that should be focused on resolving customer concerns. They also accused my husband of entering the property without a code, despite the fact that he used the required access code. Instead of reviewing their records and looking into the situation, they were quick to make accusations and dismiss our concerns. Overall, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. We were charged for something we did not do, blamed for errors that appear to have been caused by their own staff, and treated disrespectfully when we questioned it. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to keep detailed records of all communications, contracts, and transactions. ... Read more

We got our first sheds in May of 2022 when our Landlord sold our home on short notice. It was a chaotic and turbulent time for us, and we had a hard time finding storage. We walked into this office and was quickly greeted with a smile and a "How can I help?" from Betsy. She was so helpful and walked us through the process, showed us our options and got us out the door quickly. The units we rented (1 climate control, one not) were clean and secure. We have used them for 2 years now, and just went in to arrange to condense those two sheds to one climate control shed. We were happy to see that Betsy was still there. She was patient and talked through all of our options with us and worked through the paperwork with us. The computer had some issues, but she was patient and thorough with figuring those out, and really went the extra mile to make sure everything got documented correctly and we were good to go. Any challenges we have had over the last couple of years have been quickly, efficiently and kindly worked through. We love having our storage here, it feels secure, safe, clean and friendly. We have never had any trouble with security, pests or interactions with staff or other storage users. This is a great facility! And Betsy is the BEST! :) ... Read more

We have two large storage units at this location, it’s very easy to get a unit on their easy to follow website. Betsy in the office is so overly helpful with any requests we have such as billing, insurance, or locks. We have had a great experience so far with the staff and the accessibility to our units. ... We have written highly positive reviews as well as some negative ones, so to be clear I feel I am fair and willing to give praise where it's due. This review is somewhere in the middle. Am giving this business a 2 out of 5 based on the following: Pros: The facility is neat, clean, secure and well organized, access is good and the staff were helpful until they disappeared. No one there the last 3 times we went in. Voice mail box full, not taking any messages. Initial pricing seemed very reasonable, until.... Cons: We initially got our unit in May of 2021 for $75/month, a very good rate. 6 months later they raised the rates 25% from $75/month to $95, then raised them again 4 months later at the end of February another 15% to $105/mo. That's a 40% raise in rates in less than a year! Feels like gouging to me, especially when so many people are struggling right now. We've relocated our belongings to another facility. Still waiting for our deposit to be returned. Added to that, after providing a full month's notice, moving out 3 weeks early, and sweeping the unit out, repeated calls to the management to get my deposit back I still do not have my security deposit in hand. Reading other reviews, it sounds like ours is not the only case where folks feel ripped off. Recommend finding a different storage company. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Springville Self Storage - 63 North 2000 West has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Springville Self Storage - 63 North 2000 West can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 540 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Springville Self Storage - 63 North 2000 West come at a variety of prices, starting from $65 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $499 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
