Read some helpful reviews of Radford Storage at 112 Duncan Lane, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I went to pick up something that was being donated so I cannot attest to customer service or prices but I can tell you it was very easy to find, it seemed a safe, clean, well kept place, and the little roads in there were gravel, well maintained and packed I went up several steep hills there and I was expecting to sink a bit, and we have had snow AND rain and there was no sinking or big puddles or anything that comes with gravel and water (ya'll with gravel driveways understand right?). This is as far as I can review. ... Read more

While the lady on the phone who mans the office is very nice and was very nice when signing up and everything, beware. They have a low price but they take no responsibility if your goods get damaged while in the storage unit. I thought my household goods were safe there; they had a gate that could my be accessef outside of their business hours, the units were climate controlled, and the people who worked there seemed really nice and caring. But whine my storage unit was opened after being in there for two months, there were rats. Lots of them. I had food in some of those boxes and now I'm worried about being able to eat them. If there was nice, what else got into my stuff. When I called them about it, the former nice lady told me basically "too bad, that's why you have to have insurance on it." And hung up he phone. They had gotten their money from me and had little care about anything else. While I wouldn't suggest you not use them at all, I would be VERY careful in putting my stuff there. If you can, find someplace better. They may be more expensive but howl fully they don't have mice. ... Read more

Upon renting my unit 5mo ago everyone was very nice. One mo ago I stated I found alot of mice droppings all over my bed,couch,etc..They stated they were sorry but could not do anything. They have black jugs cut open with mice preventitive inside....but not one on my end of building. I reported this, no change yet after reporting over week ago. The nice lady told me to put moth balls in unit to deter mice, "now EVERYthing reaks " like moth balls...I had to clean everything and get rid of some of my stuff due to mice damage. I understand this could happen. They stated, "get renters insurance" and it would cover stuff like this. IT DOES NOT! its on exclusions page, "rodent, mice, ants damages not covered" I talked to insurance place and they stated that should be maintained by property owner. SO now I am out, I have ALL damages , they have over $200.00 of my money, and some stuff is damaged or smells bad like moth balls. "They did offer a free mo. of rent" there, which I took but that seemed hardly enough to rid of any damages. What had upset me is that they stated, "add renters insurance," it will cover mice...it doesnt. Also, I asked very kindly, please have the owner a local man to call me, 3times, he has Not called me. Anytime that I asked to receive a call back, No One called me back. I had to call them. I am just very frustrated. Be careful. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Radford Storage - 112 Duncan Lane has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Radford Storage - 112 Duncan Lane can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 450 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Radford Storage - 112 Duncan Lane come at a variety of prices, starting from $40 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $155 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
