Taking in the great outdoors through RVing grew in popularity during the pandemic, but the trend hasn’t died out. In fact, it is still going strong. Over 11M households owned an RV in 2022, according to the RV Industry Association, a 62% jump over the last decade. There are many places in the country competing to snag a spot among the best RVing destinations nationwide, but where should you ultimately go? As the Sunbelt is bathed in sunlight and warm weather year-round, you stand a better chance of enjoying your RV trip in this region, with Arizona boasting over 40 locations or the most campsites of all states. Zooming in on the Grand Canyon State, it would be worthwhile to consider a campsite near Phoenix, the largest city in Arizona – which means combining the enjoyment of the great outdoors and the closeness of city amenities.
