Second time I’ve rented here and both times no problems

I’ve stored items here for several years and the staff is super helpful. In fact, Judah helped us find a smaller unit to save us money and made the process very easy. The units are clean, air conditioned and plenty of security cameras as well as easy access. As with all storage units rates go up overtime but this is unavoidable.

Greeting and assistance was professional. He answered my questions to my satisfaction since I had never rented space before. Based on initial interaction, I would recommend his service to others. Update: April 2026: Several issues have come to light in this short time which makes me update his review: Elevator outage; I went there one afternoon carrying two bags of heavy items. I go there and th elevator was not working. I looked around for a stairwell to take me to the second floor. I did not find it. I had to turn around and get back on the bus with those two heavy bags. There was no signage that the elevator was out of service. Nor was there an signage telling you there was another elevator. Two days later, I go back (this time only taking one bag). Elevator still out of service. There is a note. I look around to see if I see anyone who could tell me where the stairwell was located. Went back out to see if anyone was in the office, It was empty. I go back in and I hear noise from a service room. There was someone there. I asked him if he knew where the stairwell was located. He shrugged his shoulders, and said I don know. He said the lady was still in the office. She says to me there is another elevator at the back of the building. Signage would be great. Been going to building since February had no idea that there was a back the building with an elevator. Proper signage was certainly would have helped, I would not have had to haul two heavy bags back home via bus. On my way out, I encountered someone coming in, she stops me to ask about the back elevator. Shane I had a discussion about signage o lack the of. Mice calling card: Yesterday, I was there to leave some items. I also took a plastic storage container for future usage. I did some rearranging of items. Today, April 17, 2026. I go to my locker, what do I see on the top of two of my containers: mice droppings. After packing my items, I went to the office. First to pay my bill and to bring to their attention what I saw. I expected her as manager of this facility to (1) admit that there was a mice issue and (2) maybe mention how often extermination service is done. Instead, she proceeds to tell me that I would have to discuss that with my homeowners insurance, since I do not carry their insurance. I could not believe my ears. I mention the opening along the top between my locker and the one next door. A gateway for mice to travel from one locker to another. Bill payment: last month I received a credit because these items I am storing, are covered by my condo homeowners insurance. I was under the impression that this credit would apply each month. However, had I taken their insurance, it would be added to my monthly bill. Go figure. Sounds like funny math to me.

I had an amazing experience at this storage facility and I have to give a huge shoutout to Isaiah. From the moment I walked in he was incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to answer all of my questions, explained everything clearly, and made the entire process smooth and stress free. You can tell he truly cares about the customers and takes pride in his work. It is rare to come across someone with that level of patience, attention to detail, and positive attitude. The facility itself was clean, organized, and secure, but what really made the difference was the customer service Isaiah provided. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with my unit and understood all my options. If you are considering this location I highly recommend it and definitely ask for Isaiah if you can. He is a huge asset to the team and deserves recognition for the outstanding job he is doing.

Ever since I’ve been a customer of this location I’ve been so happy with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the facility, and abundance of amenities on site like rolling carts to help moving. I always feel safe and helped at this location. Why am I writing this review? I had a recent tricky situation where I needed to swap a large unit for a smaller unit. As soon as I put in an inquiry on the app, I was called by Carlton and he helped me get set up with a move out/move in date for my units, and assisted throughout the process. When I arrived on the day, the process was simple and seamless. Jason was able to assist me on site and was so helpful and friendly answering my questions and finalizing the move out as well as move into my new unit. In today’s world, it’s just so lovely to meet nice people who really take care of you as a customer and as a human. Super appreciative to the Public Storage crew!!

Jesse, at the Nicholson Court location is exceptional. He is comforting, knowledgable and kind. He is very polite and answers all questions. I appreciate his professionalism and high level of proficiency.

Pleasant, helpful staff at the Kensington location (a particular shout out to Yvonne) whenever I visit there. While I do wish that the company would allow more than a six-month max prepaid bin rental and that rents not jump as they do, that's not on local staff to dictate. Helping to mitigate that, however, is that the site (and alternate ones, push come to shove) usually have specials going on from which to start anew via another bin (yes, a hassle, but minimized, at least, when you can find a good alternate deal at the same premises). And the premises are well-kept. Moreover, they do monitor for things like whether renters have properly closed their locks. One time, though I was almost sure I had (but I hadn't), Yvonne on post-monitoring walk-throughs found that I hadn't and promptly notified me.

I called and left a message about my unit. I received a call back from Jason, and he helped answer all questions and remove an unnecessary item(24 hour access) from my account. He took the time to explain everything well and I appreciated that. Thank you staff

Renee at Burtonsville location was so lovely. She helped guiding me through opening and closing my new and old spaces. She is very friendly and helpful. The location is very clean and nicely secured
