I lost my keys to my storage. I had called about 6 months ago to have the lock cut off. I was told that was no longer offered. So my son and I went to go buy a tool to cut it off. We returned the tool 3 different times to upgrade and we still could not get it off. So we decided to hire someone. Time passed as we never did hire someone and I decided to call one more time and was told they brought that service of cutting the lock off, so we bought a new lock from P.S. and Kate said when he comes to cut it off(which is one time a month and no date of when or what time). The associate stated she would call us when it was done. We put the new lock on 6-14-26. On 7-12-26 I called P.S.(the 800#) and advised I had not heard anything, the associate was extremely helpful. Listened, was empathetic, showed concern and looked into my account and found that they called me on 6-19-26 and left a voicemail. Lock is cut off and I can now get in my storage. I told her I had not received a call or a voicemail and we confirmed my cell#, but I had no voicemail on the date or after the date. I was just happy that I can now get into my storage. This has been quite an adventure. Yes it was my fault for losing my key, but the customer service from last year to this year has changed quite a bit and that needs to be acknowledged. Also kudos to Kate at the Catonsville, MD office where my storage is. She was fantastic. GREAT customer service, called me by my name. Was happy, friendly, bubbly and very helpful. I know you said "a brief description" but I felt this story needed to be told. Also a shout out to Brandon who helped us on Wednesday, July 17th. We came in to get in our storage and start a new account. Brandon was very nice, great personality and if he did not know the answer to my question, he did not hesitate to ask his fellow associates for help. I was. impressed with that. He went above and beyond to take care of our needs.
