Read some helpful reviews of Community Self Storage at 22 Industrial Drive, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

This facility was recommended to me as my friends have had decent experiences. My roommate booked us a storage unit and we had a bit of a misunderstanding about move in date and they cancelled our unit. When we showed up to the office the day it was cancelled to see if we could still get a unit we were met with one of the rudest humans I have ever encountered. The door of the office sticks, and instead of helping us after a few attempts to get in she started yelling at us from her seat behind the desk. Both my roommate and I work as servers so we have dealt with our fair share of people, however this woman was worse than anyone I had ever spoken to. When we very kindly explained the situation and how we misunderstood the move in period, she did not take well to our explanation, instead rudely telling us how college students book all the time and cancel. While I understand this may be a problem, we had shown up that day to begin using the unit(and paying the company!), but this woman was so exceptionally rude to us that we did not feel safe leaving our possessions with this company. There are many other storage facilities in the area and I would absolutely recommend any of those over Community, as we spoke to a few other facilities who were much, much kinder. Again, it is hard to explain in words how exceptionally rude this woman was to us when we approached the situation very calmly and kindly. I am appalled that a business would have this kind of representation to potential customers who were going to be utilizing the unit for a long time and paying quite a bit. ... Read more

Terrible neighbors and inconsiderate clientele. We literally have to listen to motorcycles bouncing off the rev limiter and doing burnouts and wheelies on a daily basis. Friday evenings in the summer we need to keep the windows closed because it is so loud. Sometimes people just visit their motorcycles to sit on them and rev the engines. It is absolutely ridiculous and the management does nothing about it. It seems as if management does not care as long as people pay their bill. ... Read more

The manager, Jim, is a nice guy. However, the business is very poorly run. Two days ago, my gate code, and that of two other users, did not work. Two of us got locked inside when we followed someone in. Then we couldn't get out! We called the phone number posted, left a message, got no response. We had to phone police for help. Two days later, no one has yet answered that message. Also, when signing the contract for a space, I signed up for automatic charges to my credit card. Four months later, when trying to enter my space, I found that I was locked out! When I met with Jim, I learned that the auto charges had not happened, through no fault of mine or my credit card, but because of some glitch on his end. We settled up with him, thought we had left things settled for auto-payment by credit card, and went on our way. Oh, but no! Things were not settled at all! Two months later we are again locked out! I plan to make a formal complaint to the owner of the business, and to the Better Business Bureau. And nice Jim is going to hear about it as soon as they open today! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Community Self Storage - 22 Industrial Drive has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Community Self Storage - 22 Industrial Drive can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 150 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Community Self Storage - 22 Industrial Drive come at a variety of prices, starting from $50 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $115 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
