Read some helpful reviews of Big Apple Mini Storage, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Big Apple Mini Storage has been an incredible supporter of Blacklining Foundation and the communities we serve. As we work to distribute essential donations throughout marginalized areas in New York City, having a secure space to store these items is crucial. When we reached out for a discounted rate while preparing for our 2nd Annual Financial Literacy Summit, not only did they accommodate us, but they also provided an in-kind donation—a true testament to their commitment to community support. Big Apple Mini Storage has been a part of our community for many years, consistently showing up for organizations like ours that are working to break generational curses and build stronger, more financially empowered neighborhoods. Their generosity ensures that we can continue our mission of health, wealth, and legacy, and we are beyond grateful for their partnership. If you're looking for a storage facility that truly cares about the people and organizations in New York City, Big Apple Mini Storage is the place to go! Thank you again for your generosity and continued support! ... Read more

Meh.. I went here for a quote and the guy at the front desk was professional yet dismissive. That's a way to secure the potential customer. NOT! WHY are they almost double the price of who I eventually went with (Good Friend Storage) a block away. I'm paying almost half of what Big Apple is charging and that's WITH a $12/month insurance fee) If you read my review, feel free to give it a thumbs up. ?? ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.
