Read some helpful reviews of Northwest Self Storage, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

This place is the WORST. They CONSTANTLY raise the rent, every 6 months they add 50-60 dollars. My unit started at $250 dollars. By the time I left, it was $560! For the same unit I had when I moved in! What would have happened to my stuff if I couldn't afford the ridiculous price? Who knows? I'm just lucky I got out. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. ... Read more

Megan is so kind, responsive, and attentive to any concerns or needs that arise. I’ve been a storage unit renter for about eight years now at several facilities and my experience at this location with Megan absolutely blows every other experience out of the water. She explained the security system that they use and reassured any concerns I had walking into the place about whether my belongings would be protected. She explained the rent increase process, and while she did indicate that it is completely out of her hands, she reached that the increase were not going to be unexpected and after I talked to the corporate office, they reassured me there would be room for negotiation if an increase made your unit unaffordable. I would highly recommend that anyone who is seeking storage rent from this property, especially those seeking to get away from public storage — they are A breath of fresh air in comparison to the experiences I’ve had with that company. ... As usual, the property manager took very good care of me as she always does and I really appreciate it. Always a great experience going in and talking to her and taking care of whatever business I need to take care of on that particular day. Whether it’s paying my bill or asking questions, I probably should know the answer to at this point. ... Read more

Every experience I have here is so great. Third review, and honestly, its deserved. I had to increase my unit size. The manager, Meagan, was so helpful in selecting the new unit. She gave me several options and helped me narrow it down to the best one. She gave me enough time to get my stuff moved and clearly laid out the details on how the transfer would need to go. She even gave me some flexibility in timing my payment! I hadn't noticed before, but the Units have overhead lights in them, which is a big plus in the winter months when there isn't much sun. And the lights have real switches in an insulated conduit, not some sketchy pull cord! It would have been so much cheaper to not go that extra mile for convenience and safety, and noone would have complained, but they did! 100% the best place I've ever kept my stuff. ... Read more

I've had my unit for only 3 months, paying 200.. And then I get a notice of price Increase, saying it will now be 300.. The prices online are still the same I pay.. So basically, they punish you for being a reliable customer? They only increase for the current customers and not the new ones? A 50 percent increase after 3 months is INSANE, so I will have to go elsewhere.. Or what? Move to a different unit just to get the same deal I already had? Why? I'm fortunate I hadn't moved much in yet. It feels like they exploit the fact that many put all of their belongings in there and can't easily just move it. I'm lucky I didn't have much in there so moving will be easy but most will not have that luxury. If you rent from here, know what you're getting into with those kind of price increases. The person I met when I first came was very nice and helpful so this isnt on her, but the company itself. It's not ethical to raise the price that much. ... Read more
