For the drive-up units, the garage-style doors don't close all the way to the ground/the weather stripping doesn't block debris like pollen and leaves and dust from getting into your unit and all over your stuff (I leave a broom in my unit and have to sweep it out every other week or so); the rates have skyrocketed (in LESS than 3 years, they have gone up $145 PER MONTH over the course of three rate increases) and now they are charging a credit card processing fee. (And I'm not even factoring in having to drive past homeless row to get into the gate since that's out of their control, or that they are extremely difficult to get a hold of on the phone when you need to - it's always some answering service in an entirely different state who never knows anything about the actual location whose local number you called.) ... Probably the more affordable storage in the area ONLY if you are renting long term. (They make everyone pay monthly, so even when you are done using space for less than a month, you are STILL CHARGED the full amount with no refund.) It seems like you’re getting a reasonable deal until you read the fine print or decide to vacate. I’ve never used a storage company that did this and I am very unimpressed. ?? Why would you prorate me upon my incoming month but not my last?! That’s a bit misleading and just not right. I will be more diligent to avoid this trap in the future and I hope this saves someone a pain in the ass experience like mine. I essentially hustled to get out early, just to pay extra money anyway. Not cool. A refund for that empty space would be much appreciated. It’s a little shady that an emptied and payed for unit can be rented out to the next person so that you are profiting more than what the monthly cost already was. On the plus side, things are really clean here and the temperature/humidity/rodents are controlled well. ?????? ... Read more

I can’t say I’ve used a bunch of different storage unit companies but I’ve truly had a good experience here with these folks. They’ve honored verbal agreements when they really didn’t have to honor (and when a lot of companies these days would just say if you didn’t have it in writing, tough). The units are always clean and well lit, and the people on site I’ve dealt with have been welcoming and kind, not to mention the folks I’ve spoken to over the phone. The *only* thing I’d ask is that there would be more carts to help load stuff in and out, there was one the very first time I went and I haven’t seen another one in my building since then. Pretty please! Thank you! ... Read more
