I am constantly charged for insurance here. I have the same insurance I have had since I first established a unit here over 2 years ago. However, my insurance publishes eligibility in 6 months increments. RecNation uses this as an opportunity to increse their revenue by automatically charging insurance coverage. I submitted proof of insurance for the last cycle but they rejected it without notifying me, happily charging me for their coverage for several months. I reached out mutliple times identifying that they failed to notify me of the decision, which their communications stated they would upon insurance submission, to which they were unresponsive. I was automatically charged again today without any notification.
They also raised rates by a ludicrous 50%. For WHAT? ... Read more

Horrible experience, I already knew they are more expensive than other local storage but needed something fast on a sunday and knew it could get done. However, after signing up and getting the camper over there, they did not give me the spot I had requested which was a pull through 40' covered spot. I get there and it's just a corner spot which doesnt even look like a 40' full covered spot.
I figured at this point it is just a little screw up and I can switch spots. How wrong I was. I call, its automated because it's Sunday, but someone does call a couple hours later but they can't hear me for some reason both times they call. They send me an email, I tell them the issue and do hear back until Monday afternoon. After some back and forth, they tell me to pick a spot from a provided map with spots that are available. So I move in on Tuesday and let them know. Then they tell me THAT spot is more expensive and if that's ok. No. No, it's not ok, I wanted what I paid for.
At this point it's Wednesday, not resolved. So I pick up and go somewhere else. Tell them I want a refund since I've only actually been parked there for 1 full day. They say no and are trying to also charge me for the additional amount for the spot I had moved to. As a previous user of this facility, it's ridiculous. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. I wouldnt even bother with the review if they just refunded ALL of my money. ... Read more

Great experience as we have stored with RecNation before. The shorter storage space we needed wasn’t available but we were given the longer storage area at a discount in the short term until other space is available or we may just stay with assigned pull through location. Agent was kind and considerate as original space offered was illegally occupied so they did their very best to accommodate our parking need. Best parking available anywhere. All good. Peace. Facility is still all gravel roads 4 years after I first rented there. Lots of dust even in enclosed storage. Vehicles and boat gets dirty every time I enter which is super annoying. Enclosed storage is a loose term because it was all hand built and does not have garage doors and sealed off like other places. The lot itself is fine. In less than one year of being there they provided a notice by email they were doubling the cost and there was nothing I could do about it other than finding another lot that would do it for cheaper and they would consider matching. I moved my trailer out but no one was available on the weekend for me to cancel. When I called during the week they advised they require 30 day notice so they are charging the increased amount for the extra month I don't need.
It's very clear they don't care about customer service and are all about getting as much money as possible from the lots that they have. I will never use this company again or recommend to anyone else. ... Read more

This place has provided an absolute nightmare of an experience. If it was possible to give zero stars, I would. We have been trying to remove our RV for months, and the facility is ALWAYS flooded. Not because of rain (I understand that is outside their control), regardless of the weather there has been a grading/drainage issue by our unit for months on end. The same thing happened A YEAR AGO when we tried to move our trailer as well. We have brought it up with management repeatedly, they say they are working to resolve it and then nothing is done. We have been told that the "site manager" is going to call us to get it sorted out countless times, and yet never get any kind of response when we reach out or been contacted by anyone. Absolutely Horrendous Customer Service – Avoid at All Costs
If I could give zero stars, I would. Our experience with this boat storage facility has been nothing short of infuriating and deeply disappointing. For months, we had our credit card set up on auto-draft with zero issues—everything was running smoothly. Then, out of nowhere, they stopped running our card without any notice and proceeded to charge us a late fee. When we reached out to clarify, their auto response from a bot (not a customer service representative) was baffling—they claimed we had requested to move out, which is completely false. We NEVER made such a request, and their assertion was both baseless and irresponsible.
What makes this situation even worse is their total disregard for communication. We called and left multiple voicemails—no response. We sent several text messages—no response. We emailed—no response. It’s as if once they had our business, any sense of customer service went completely out the window. The lack of professionalism is astonishing.
This company is either extremely disorganized or simply doesn’t care about its customers once they’ve collected their money. Either way, it’s unacceptable. The way this situation was handled shows a complete absence of accountability and customer support.
We are beyond frustrated and regret ever storing our boat here. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. We would never recommend this facility to anyone. ... Read more

We've had our RV stored here for the past year at a reasonable rate. They informed everyone of a price increase this year. Mine would increase by about $70, so when I asked about it, the person I contacted told me, with my military discount, it would be about a $59 increase. The new bill came in and it had increased by $80!! When I asked about it, AGAIN, I was told that the previously stated new price was incorrect (due to a double military discount??) and they wouldn't honor what they wrote! I’m unsure about the direction this storage facility is heading. When I first started storing my boat here, the service was excellent—callbacks were prompt, and prices were reasonable. Now, customer service has declined, and callbacks are nearly nonexistent. I’ve left three messages with no response, yet I receive automated calls about payments. I've been high on this facility, UNTIL their dark underbelly exposed itself this past week. After raising my rates by more than 50% for next month, their customer service team responded to my concern saying I could cancel the $12 per month they've been charging me for insurance for almost two years. It's been a hidden fee DESPITE having supplied them proof of my own insurance, which they said would waive that charge. Now, their online "move out form" says I have to give 30 days notice. When I told them that my agreement says 10 days notice is required, I received this reply today: "We retain the right to make changes to the terms of your occupancy without prior notice." (Okay... but how do you think actually doing that is good, ethical business?)
