Clean units, offers large or mid to smaller sized "locker" spaces in a gated facility. Access is limited to standard business hours, but the staff is very kind. The lady helping us even went the extra mile by searching for additional online and in store promotions to find us a reasonable solution to fit our needs, while staying within our budget range. As a professional organizer, I spend a lot of time in storage units! This facility has bright, efficient, and very helpful staff. The place is clean and even when working alone for long amounts of time, I always feel safe there as they have cameras everywhere. The storage units and signage are all well lit. I think the most outstanding feature of this place is how nice their staff is. They went out of their way to help my movers, and they have always been friendly and cheerful. Been going through a move & needed some storage space in a pinch and found a GREAT spot here to hold things during the process. I was a bit tense going in, but Jasmine was SUPER helpful & friendly in getting my needs sorted out and finding the right unit at a solid price (including a helpful promotion for my first month!). DO NOT RECOMMEND ARGYLE LOCATION! The only nice thing I have to say is that the staff is nice. But they are always at the Extra Space around the corner and when you call for help you have to wait for someone from the other location to come over. When I booked online I needed a storage next to an elevator. Got there, the elevator was broken with no idea of when it would be fixed (I asked). All they had was another unit that was $30/ more a month; convenient. I needed to move my stuff that day so I agreed. I was not told that later it would jump to costing $250 a month ($100 more!) without any communication that the price would be increasing. On top of that randomly the the huge metal door they close at night malfunctioned and you could no longer drive in. You had to park on the street with not much actual street parking and walk in through a door. Again, no communication that the door was down or apologies for the inconvenience. Then the last two times I visited the drive in gate malfunctioned and was permanently open so anyone could walk in. Mind you I never see a manager working on site during business hours, I’ve only once seen a ground man cleaning. So the gate is left open and not one employee is there to make sure storage units aren’t being messed with. And my storage was one of the first units when you walk in through the gate.
