I was trying to do everything on line but it wouldn't complete for me. Ryan called me to help me sign up on the phone but the site still didn't let me submit. So I set up a time to meet him and got it all taken care of. Then he showed me to my storage locker and got the keys and how to work the lock. Very helpful and he also got me a locker close to the elevator, less walking for me and my husband with our medical issues. Thanks again Ryan! ... Read more

I absolutely love public storage! I prefer them over U-Haul any day! They are so friendly staffed, and really want to make an impact for all of their customers! Thank you Tony(area manager) for having such a great team! ... Read more

This is a wonderful place to store your things!! Chris and Ryan were fantastic to work with! The day we moved in and couldn't figure out how to get in, we called them. They were so patient!!! They are always pleasant and efficient. Prices were still great after my phenomenal move- in deal ended! The facility is clean with convenient restrooms just inside the garage door. I always felt completely safe inside and outside the building! I cannot recommend them high enough!!! ... Read more

I was there yesterday to drop off some stuff in my storage that I had already paid for and it was locked. They didn’t give me any keys. No one was there to help me. I left my items in the front of my storage. So disappointed. ... Read more

Honestly, the people who work there are great. But the company sucks. They have canceled my autopay without my consent on many occasions, racking up the late fees to fuel their greed. They say they will reimburse you if you just pay it, but they never do. Every month gets more and more expensive by $10. They have Americans help you on the phone if you're new, but if you are an existing customer with an issue, they send you to a branch in India that acts like they don't have the time of day for you. The climate control "heated" units are barely that. I hope to be rid of this company before winter hits. ... Read more

Pretty irritated over my experience. First off my stall wasn't heated when said it was. Secondly you guys charge the full month for being a day over the month? Did I initially move in on the first? No prorating or even bimonthly? They lied about it being heated among charging a whole month for a day. Be careful with these stoarge places as they up rent by $60 a month which is like a 30 percent increase. ... Read more

Absolutely disgraceful and dishonorable business policies. I am paying over 250 dollar for my unit, when we contracted it for about half of that not 7 months ago. Its been slowly increasing in price. We have our entire house there. I was told that if there are any price discrepancies, we can just email or call and they can adjust no problem. Well, their "solution" is to move to the unit in front, which is the same size and the same conditions, but for the much lower price. You know that people wont do that, I am not even physically there to move my stuff. I am paying a CAR PAYMENT, this is an abuse and a predatory behavior on people without a home to store their stuff. PUBLIC STORAGE = STRESS AND NOT PEACE OF MIND!!!!!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 9580 Zachary Lane North has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Keyless Unit Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
