Had this place for storage had a move out date by 5/30/2026 everything clean unit swept out by standards as it came up to the due date of the payment the app is reporting the payment past due date of the first move out was scheduled a week in advance whoever owns this place is a joke too after calling for multiple days with no answer or call back and a now looming charge with no way to get a customer corporate service number I have only one choice left and that will be small claims court. ... The facility is fine and I feel it's secure enough. I feel the on-site staff does their best. I'm just extremely upset that in less than 3 years (35 months) corporate Public Storage have raised my monthly rate from $158 to $364, that's 134% price hike, or 44% a year. They (corporate) don't care about loyalty and customers that pay on time and cause no other problems. They just care about how fast they can raise your rate. The manager last year did get me a short freeze on a rate hike last year, but that even speaks worse for what corporate was trying to have me pay. I'm on a 5 year motorhome trip and was trying to see the country before my military caused disabilities made me unable to move. But I'm going to find a way to get back to the east coast and stop this unreasonable expense. Then they can lure some other suckered in with a rate that doesn't last 3 months. ... Read more

First & last time using public storage...1st got the unit had issues, wasnt told several things had to talk to management because whomever u talk to at the self service place wasnt giving out accurate information......they don't prorate the rent....was only in the unit 9 days this month & they said you have to pay the full month rent regardless...then deny you access if you don't pay it in full. ...I didn't pay it full thinking they prorate the rent like other storage places .... I will never use them again & they are not the cheapest around. They have numbers for you to call just to never get an answer from even at the location itself. Rip offs if you ask me....had to pay $128 for 9 days is insane!!!! Then when I got there to remove my stuff everything was covered in dirt and leaves.....it has all my stuff smelling weird. ... Dead rat in storage unit. I am guessing it came from the person who was renting the next storage unit over. I wasn’t going to clean around the area. Storage space 246 is empty minus dead rat, no one picks up on the phone to cancel storage unit. They hang up ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
